I love them - the undisputed king of burgers surely?

I used to work in a McDonald’s franchise that sold loads of filet of fish (we had a big local Muslim population who really liked filet of fish). Sometimes they’d transfer you for a shift in the city centre franchise and they’d always put you on the fish and chicken station.

We once had a family come in and order 27 filet of fish meals. It was a big family (not trying to feed 4).

I wasn't blown away by it and wouldnt pay full price for it. Very small and very soft and sloppy. Tasted good though.

NamasteNiki It's soft because the bun is specifically steamed, rather than every other bun which is toasted. You can always ask for it toasted rather than steamed, though.

I'm veggie- one of the things I miss from the fish/meat word, is a yummy fillet o'fish..if I had a day off where I allowed myself to eat fish again I'd have 10 of these in a go.

The crunchy texture of the tartare sauce, the softness of the bun, the fish...ooooo yeaaaahhh. If only they made a teeny bit of effort with their veggie burgers...
