I wish we had more too. I really do. I just love that my trans daughter is exposed to hate every day. I'm over fucking joyed that she's talking about suicide and I particularly love that she feels like a freak, a second class citizen and that she will never ever fit in.

Maybe we should start some of our own threads on this afrikat and just stir up some more bile. Oh and we must boycott Lush, Children In Need and Paperchase because they are all about encouraging perverts to get their willies out and all know that is basically what the entire trans community is about.

Floella it is not trans-bashing to say that being born a woman is not the same as being ‘non trans’. I absolutely support trans-women and men to live and be accepted for who they are. But they are not women. There is no hate there. It is very disturbing how anyone raising anything to do with women’s rights in this area is shut down by being accused of ‘hate speech’.

The children with most suicide ideation are children with ASD. But they are not the social contagion like trans, so noone gives a shit.

As sad as I am for children with disorders such as dysphoria it doesn't bode well to be complicit in their self abuse. I wouldn't help my daughter starve to death if she was anorexic.

I also think the link between ASD and trans needs to be properly studied, along with the mental health conditions then tend to be comorbidities in trans people.

It isn't transbashing FFS. It is biological truth. I am sure trans people do find it trickier to fit into society just as anybody else who differs from the majority would. This doesn't mean people who don't believe they are the sex they say actually mean them harm or think they should be discriminated against. Being a short woman stopped me doing many things but I couldn't say I believed I was really five eight so please let me be a copper.
