Thankyou, beautifully expressed. This is how things should be in a respectful and logical world, not one that has been hijacked by activists with a disruptive and divisive agenda.

The speed with which this is happening is absolutely terrifying. And the charge is being led by women (particularly Justine Greening), which is most depressing of all. It’s like they are loving the thrill of feeling super right on and groovy - and point blank refusing to consider any inconvenient truths.

Like the ones I read of recently in an amazing letter sent to James O’Brien of LBC by a woman caller after he cut her off, calling her a bigot and religious fundamentalist because she was worried about mixed changing spaces (so much for his virtue signalling loud support for #metoo just the week before - I’m guessing he sees zero irony in this). This after the only answer he could give to her her excellent question ‘What does living as a girl even mean?’ was some spluttering tripe about wanting to play with toys traditionally associated with girls!

Anyhow I digress. I’m paraphrasing, but she essentially asked what the chances were that men were transitioning because they wanted to wipe arses in care homes, take home lower pay than men, and wonder if they’re going to be attacked whenever they get out of their car into a deserted high rise car park.

Surely it’s not just that they want to wear pretty dresses and lipstick (two desires completely absent in this particular non trans woman )...but what else can it possibly be?

I find the term ‘cis’ offensive personally. I am a woman, a biological female. If a man wants to ‘transition’ and live as what he perceives is a woman that’s fine, but he is a transwoman. Not a biological woman.

I have trans friends - I hear their pain and confusion and honour their right to try and find a self they can be happy with. I am happy to use the names (and pronouns) they choose for themselves. But the deal is, I get to name myself too. I am a woman. I don't really like the term cis much - it's superfluous and fussy. IRL, I have never met anyone who had a problem with that. It's a case of give respect, get respect
