Equality for everyone!!! Hurrah!!

Apart from the fact that equality means the erosion of rights from 50% of the population.

But let’s jump on the bandwagon of being cool and accepting....and not doing any research into the subject, for example how drugs that suppress puberty can result in life limiting side effects.

Let’s not talk about men convicted of rape who end up in women’s prisons or the medals won by men competing in women’s sport.

Agghh

Believe me, if I could frame it in a serious way and not have it look gimmicky, I would.

All those peers of the realm, and MPs in their clubs getting an idea of what self identification might look like and how it could affect them.

The most irritating part is that if the boot was on the other foot, it’s exactly what transactivists would do. It’s no more crazy then men competing as women, against women, or accessing women’s private spaces.

It really isn’t. In fact it’s far less damaging.

Datun that's fantastic

I feel like I've found my people. My friends and family (all apart from dh I must say) think I've completely lost my mind when I discuss the need for safe spaces for women...

I know this subject was discussed earlier in the thread but when Alan decides he's now Annie and gets to wear a dress and be in spaces that are women only him and his penis are destroying the rights and perhaps mental wellbeing of women in those spaces!! What about people who use those spaces for a feeling of safety and security? Religious beliefs or past sexual abuse!!

We can't stand for this I'm honestly worried for my daughter. This is opening a black hole of men accessing spaces where women feel secure and relaxed and the ones with fetishism are allowed to do what they like until it's too late and the horse has already bolted

One sexual assault in this setting is TOO MUCH and we've already seen this happen.

I'll be writing to my MP. I also suggest protests of some kind are none already arranged!
