She's an incredibly nasty piece of work during PMQs Can't answer Corbyn's questions so just snarls scripted insults at him in her Thatcherite voice.

Brokenbiscuit · 04/10/2017 23:36

You can dislike her politics intensely, but still feel for her on a human level.

homebythesea · 04/10/2017 23:37

I was listening on the radio and it was excruciating. I felt fir her- it's the public speaker' worst nightmare. I didn't see the "prank" till I saw video later. Truly appalling security - where were the close protection people? Why didn't anybody in the front row stand up and stop him? He could literally have killed the entire cabinet. I think she handled him with grace and good humour in the Circs. Perton saying she had a good cry backstage- don't blame her

ScaryMary81 · 04/10/2017 23:37

Final nail in the coffin springs to mind & to little to late & I actually like Theresa.

I'm not sure who's bright idea it was to hold the Tory Conference in Manchester, but I would say the views displayed, are representative of how most people feel, watching our country and official services crumble before our eyes due to Austerity.

Not to mention the thousands of deaths, driven to suicide by the Dickension policies that have targeted disabled, the mentally ill in particular, sick people and working families visiting food banks and being made homeless, in utter despair at the hands of the Tories - it's called karma!

ScaryMary81 · 04/10/2017 23:43

It does make me laugh in disgust the amount of people that feel sorry for her with a cold and someone handing her a piece of paper (yes it could of been worse).

Yet feel not an ounce of empathy for the millions suffering up and down this country!

Brokenbiscuit · 04/10/2017 23:47

It's perfectly possible to feel sorry for her on a human level and feel empathy for the people whose lives have been shattered by this horrible bloody government. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Mediation2018 · 04/10/2017 23:48

Talk aside, they could have been looking at potential attacks on the PM, the Foreign Secretary, the Home Secretary and the Chancellor.

Their security team should be sacked.

CottonEyedJoe · 04/10/2017 23:50

I felt sorry for her on a human level as people are saying, and then I read this:

Talking about the Hillsborough inquiry, tackling injustices of racial inequality, cracking down on stop and search, getting to the truth of the Grenfell Tower tragedy and announcing a review of the Mental Health Act, May repeatedly told delegates, “That’s what I’m in this for.”

bullshit!

TheweewitchRoz · 04/10/2017 23:53

Appalling lapse in security & this whole witch hunt by social media is very scary to me. JC is one of the most manipulative career politicians & I really hope he never becomes PM.

homebythesea · 04/10/2017 23:53

What brokenbiscuit said ^^

Bloodybridget · 04/10/2017 23:55

What about the letter falling off the graphics behind her? "Eff off, Tories* . .

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 05/10/2017 00:01

No sensible person buys that crap or thinks it does any good at all

What nonsense. Firstly millions of people buy cold medicines and secondly whilst none of them cure a cold they all alleviate the symptoms temporarily. Fine to criticise her or her policies if there is a substance to the criticism but don't make up nonsense

ThierryEnnui · 05/10/2017 00:01

He could literally have killed the entire cabinet.

Really? With a piece of A4?

ScaryMary81 · 05/10/2017 00:02

I do feel for TM on a human level, I think she was incredibly brave to take the reigns of a sinking ship, created by David Cameron. Who rather cleverly abandoned ship at precisely the right time.

Embekkisson1 · 05/10/2017 00:03

The Tory party have always acted like rats on a sinking ship when their leader is going down . It reminds me of the final days of John Major when it was apparent he didn't have one supporter in he's own cabinet . I reckon Teresa is ill under stress , she's cocked up a speech before with coughing. Today when she left with her husband she looked on the point of tears . I think she's making terrible fashion gaffes too , the silly cropped trousers yesterday were awful. She looks like there is no one around to personally advise her , not even a friendly doctor or life style guru who can get her stress and nerves under control for her . I think she is a dead woman walking .

Joeymaynardslimegreendress · 05/10/2017 00:04

maybe it’s age. My 4 grown up
Kids range from one Tory to a biblical Corbyn supporter.

They are all good kids but it’s hard when you have lived through and remember the ups and downs of Wilson, , Heath Foot, Thatcher, Blaire, Cameron. Blah blah and can’t quite summon the energy to dissapoint the young and say look may and Corbyn are tossers too and no nothing will change but they
Will be fine when they fail they
Have jobs for life In Europe or the house of lords.

Hey ho

I like her.

I think she came across as less of a maybot & more human today - none of it was her fault & she proved her tenacity in a way.

I’d much rather have her as PM than any of the other vainglorious wannabes that see themselves in power (BoJo, Corbyn et al).

Joeymaynardslimegreendress · 05/10/2017 00:06

Blimey forgot major thanks emb

Don’t think you would criticise a blokes dress sense though that’s just bitchy and spoils your post

The "comedian".with the P45 came over as a complete twat.

TheresaMay · 05/10/2017 00:26

Stro nd able

DontDrinkDontSmoke · 05/10/2017 00:27

I’d feel sorry for her on a human level if she behaved like an actual human.

Her politics and lack of effectiveness disgust me.

As an aside, who the fuck does BoJo think he’s kidding with those staged morning runs for the press each day?

I think Treez should get her running gear on (preferably 80s style Jane Fonda-esque) and show the bumbling idiotic Cuntwomble up.

When the Guardian are less negative about the Conservative Prime Ministers speech than the Telegraph is that must be concerning for her.

Carouselfish · 05/10/2017 00:29

I liked the comment by a Conserv MP asked if she felt sorry for TM, that 'the Conservatives don't do pity' or something to that effect. Indeed.

ScaryMary81 · 05/10/2017 00:30

The very real thing here is, how our democratic system in itself is failing society and itself, in how it performs, as a whole. Lacking in integrity and lets face it who trusts or has faith in any politicians.

Democracy has turned into a version of a shoddy reality series on a rather crap tv channel, where, only die hard fans really participate, and vote.

I love politics and our country but didn't vote, I walked out of the ballot station, because it's a mockery, a choice between different versions of fake promises and outright lies, and I no longer want to participate.
