To be pissed off that Greggs vary regionally?

Why can't I get a greggs iced split in the home counties? And why are greggs bread puddings not avaliable in the south?

Are regional tastes so different that the whole uk can't enjoy a nasty but strangely alluring and edible iced split?

I work in Greggs and I didn't know until this thread about all the regional products. I think I may need to take a road trip to sample all the different delights. I bet you're all jealous of my discount card with 50% off.

Does anyone down south have london cheesecake in their bakeries? I could literally kill for one

I'm not a native of Norwich so I don't know really. We just have the usual generic bits!

I remember the disappointment on being unable to get a Bridie from greggs in Newcastle when I was down visiting a friend. I didn't realise they were regional to Scotland.

Also does anyone anywhere still get the ginger cake with the thick icing on top? (Icing like a birthday cake/ marzipan consistency). Greggs up here stopped selling them years ago and I've missed them ever since.
