So this morning I'm sat having a cuppa when a uber taxi pulls up at my door.
He starts beeping his horn,I ignore it and 2 minutes later I go out and a woman walks around the corner.
I ask her was this taxi for her..she said yes sorry uber app couldn't find my address so I used your house number.
I was taken aback and told her that she shouldn't of done that and not to do it again...
Was she cheeky?

What difference does it make to your day?

TeenTimesTwo · 18/09/2017 12:47

I'm not sure what the problem is?

hula008 · 18/09/2017 12:47

Was he on your driveway or private road?

AnxietyForever · 18/09/2017 12:48

Not cheeky.

araiwa · 18/09/2017 12:48

lol

You can order a taxi from anywhere

Id have laughed in your face

Gizlotsmum · 18/09/2017 12:48

assuming she paid then not sure how it affects you? apart from maybe annoying your neighbours?

Cheekofit · 18/09/2017 12:49

It was on a road but pulled in to my drive way if that makes sense.
Taxis normally do as the road is a busy road so they would obstruct otherwise.

Nope, not cheeky of her at all. I think it was rude of you to confront her, though.

LadyWire · 18/09/2017 12:49

I've ordered an uber from outside a pub I've not been to. Don't see the problem!

Fabellini · 18/09/2017 12:49

Outside your house, on the street? What on earth are you bothered about? Genuinely, what problem can you possibly have with this?

Holidayhooray · 18/09/2017 12:49

Not in the least bit cheeky. Not even a teeny tiny teeny bit.

EamonnWright · 18/09/2017 12:49

It would be an issue if she done a runner, soiled in the taxi or otherwise messed about.

Do you know her?

InsomniacAnonymous · 18/09/2017 12:49

What she did sounds like a quick and easy solution to the problem and harmed no one in the process.

gamerchick · 18/09/2017 12:50

It really doesn't matter OP. Don't sweat the small stuff.

SilverBirchTree · 18/09/2017 12:50

What a strange thing for you to care about...

SparklyMagpie · 18/09/2017 12:51

I'm not understanding what the problem was. She explained why she did it and apologized

Whats the big deal?

araiwa · 18/09/2017 12:52

Why eamonn?

Its uber, they know which account ordered it. Pick up address is not responsible for unknown people in taxis

Yerazig · 18/09/2017 12:53

I've done that many time if I'm somewhere I'm not familiar with, or if I'm on a busy road high road but get an uber to pick me on a quiet side road so he can stop carefully. Not that strange to be honest.

Cheekofit · 18/09/2017 12:54

If uber wasn't picking her address up I don't know what stopped her calling a normal taxi

TheDodgyEnd · 18/09/2017 12:54

It feels like you're looking for something to be annoyed about? Do you know them and not get on? Someone who I don't like could say they liked pasta or something else harmless and it would get my back up 😂

TheDodgyEnd · 18/09/2017 12:55

"If uber wasn't picking her address up I don't know what stopped her calling a normal taxi"

But why does it matter? Surely none of your concern? Did it wake baby or something with the honking of the horn?

CatsOclock · 18/09/2017 12:56

Why does it matter?

I can see it would be annoying if you couldn't access your drive but as a one-off? I would take a chill pill. She could have been your new best friend. :)

Rufustherenegadereindeer1 · 18/09/2017 12:56

It would be an issue for me if the taxi driver knocked on the door

Or got annoyed if i knew nothing about the taxi coming

Aeroflotgirl · 18/09/2017 12:56

I would not think much of it tbh, nothing to get worked up about.
