Paris Greene tortured and murdered someone. Paris and her penis were sent to a female prison where she had sexual relations with several inmates. So they moved Paris to another female prison. Tara Hudson was another violent male with a penis - sent to a female prison. If we are saying some TW should be in female prisons (rapists or whatevet) - then surely all TW should be in female prisons - or that is discrimination.

One well known and very vocal TW activist stated publicly that even if every TW was a rapist - they should still have access to every female space. There was a lot of support for this view.

Of course it isn't - the problem lies in male prisons where it happens. It is not ok to move the victims from the male prison population into the female population - it just creates problems there.

I find it so depressing when things move backwards. Locking up women with rapists is an inhumanity that would never have been countenanced in previous years and even previous centuries but the supposedly advanced twenty first century thinks it is fine. Disgusting.

Prison is probably the best place for her.

If we are to accept that people can change their legal gender, and we accept that criminals have human rights, then we must also accept that a rapist may decide to change gender and therefore must be treated the same as someone who was born the "new" gender.

We can't have a situation where "anyone can choose their gender without being discriminated against except in cases of X, Y or Z" - because by differentiating someone who has changed gender from people "naturally" of that gender, we are by definition discriminating against them.

Anyway, prison should be a horrendous experience that nobody should be prepared to suffer from again once they are released, so frankly it doesn't bother me if a rapist is sent to a female prison, no more than it would bother me if a homosexual male rapist was sent to a male prison. If people are scared, intimidated, it might make them be more determined to stay out of jail in future.

Prisons aren't segregated based on internal feelings of gender identity, they're segregated on biological sex for good reason. This person is male-bodied and a risk to all women they encounter given their offending history. It is madness to cast aside the women in this prison as unimportant and irrelevant in the face of this one offenders internal feelings.
