I'm bored and dreaming about being ridiculously rich able to afford a Bugatti Chiron so I thought I'd ask what everyone else's dream car is to distract myself.

A mini in that muted purple colour.

Valuedopinion · 27/08/2017 10:04

badgerhead we have the T8 XC90, it's a hybrid. It goes like a rocket too.

ethelfleda · 27/08/2017 10:05

A range rover sport or a discovery sport or an evoque and a defender as a spare.
I like Land Rover Grin

Mellington · 27/08/2017 10:09

So many to choose!
The 'dream' is the Jaguar XJ220, but they're about £300k. They're beautiful, a collaboration with Tom Wilkinshaw racing and they sound so sexy, I've only ever seen one in real life.
I'd love a Defender (110) but DH says they're too uncomfortable so I currently have a Range Rover, I'll probably change this to a Disco in a few years.
I'd LOVE an Aston Martin, I went to see them being made as a child and fell in love with the craftsmanship. Once we've got a house we're happy with DH and I will treat ourselves to a fun car and either a classic Jag or the Aston are top of the list.

JadeT2 · 27/08/2017 10:11

Skoda Kodiaq

50ShadesOfEarlGrey · 27/08/2017 10:21

A Morgan Classic roadster, with luggage rack on the back of course! And a classic split screen VW Campervan.

I'll just sell the house now.....

Ooh I forgot about the Tesla Model S, I do want one but too small my day to day needs. I hope they bring out a decent 4x4 soon.

flumpybear · 27/08/2017 10:43

Lots - Jag f type, most Aston Martins, there's a Lexus sports car I'm trying to justify at the moment - may be a little small for my kids tho GrinHmm

hennaoj · 27/08/2017 11:20

It was a Ferrari Daytona, then Ferrari F40. Now all I want is a Black MK1 imported MX5 s-special (my 1st car was one).

WhooooAmI24601 · 27/08/2017 11:25

Our neighbour works at JLR and often brings home brand new beautiful cars to test drive. The F-Pace is stunning. I'd like one next.

I bought my dream car last year; I've always loved X5's and wanted one for a while. Last September I looked at my savings and thought "fuckit" so bought one. I don't regret it for a second; it is the most fun car I've ever driven and I love him.

They do a seven seat version I think. Apologies if you've more than five nippers to ferry around.

Maria1982 · 27/08/2017 11:35

whooooo You neighbour is a lucky man!!!

Maria1982 · 27/08/2017 11:35

Your!

WhatALoadOfOldBollocks · 27/08/2017 11:35

Landrover Defender or Toyota Hilux Mk5. I prefer rugged and practical offroaders that can tow and be useful, and I hate flashiness/vulgar displays of wealth. I love my little old Toyota and wouldn't replace it even if I had money to throw around. It was my dream car at the time.

MrsJoyOdell · 27/08/2017 11:36

Win the lottery dream car? Porsche Cayenne Grin

Realistic? Probably a Dacia duster Blush or a Kia Sportage.

FairfaxAikman · 27/08/2017 11:40

Everyday car - Volvo estate (for the dogs)

Fun car - Bentley Continental GTC

High days and holidays car - Dusenburg Model J and an E-type Jag.

flickertee · 27/08/2017 11:41

Cowgirls no picnic basket, it's like 20 grand or something crazy 😬

Valuedopinion · 27/08/2017 11:46

I hate flashiness/vulgar displays of wealth

I hate pious judgements on other people's choice of car. Very hyacinth bouquet.

WhooooAmI24601 · 27/08/2017 11:55

I hate flashiness/vulgar displays of wealth

I love vulgar displays of wealth. The more vulgar the better.

LinoleumBlownapart · 27/08/2017 13:17

Where I live if you're rich or want to look like you are then you get a rugged and practical offroader. Toyota Hilux is the usual contender, Landrover defender is more show offy. If you don't like vulgar displays of wealth you get a rusty pushbike, you don't get a 4 wheel drive and pretend you need to tow stuff.

I love my Hilux but I'm a show off. Grin

Ifonlyiweretaller · 27/08/2017 13:19

Audi R8 for me - we hired one once and it was an absolute dream. Cant quite decide on the colour though...Grin

cowgirlsareforever · 27/08/2017 18:16

flickertee If I could afford the Bentley I'd pay the extra £20,000 for the swanky picnic basket. They are incredible.
Please promise me you'll park it in an Aldi or Lidl carpark at least once to get your weekly shopping Grin

photographyaddict · 27/08/2017 18:24

'67 Chevy Impala 😍😍

Bluebell878275 · 27/08/2017 18:26

My dream car is a Tom Cat Bowler..built specifically for me. I have had a beautiful G60 Corrado..but realistically now I'm aiming for a good old Golf GTI. I currently own a Mazda 323 Sport.

steff13 · 27/08/2017 18:33

Bugatti Chiron
