I'm bored and dreaming about being ridiculously rich able to afford a Bugatti Chiron so I thought I'd ask what everyone else's dream car is to distract myself.

I miss our old Japanese people carrier (a Toyota maybe?) because it was a lovely smooth drive and had plenty of room for 4 dogs and the kids as well.

We now have to use DP's Land Rover Defender if we're going out anywhere (two of the dogs are small enough to sit on the laps of the kids) which I hate, because I feel like I'm about to invade France going anywhere in that!

Restawhile · 26/08/2017 23:10

A Carrera Porsche like Rupert C-B, looked up spelling of carrera and nearly fainted at the price!

whyareusernamessodifficult · 26/08/2017 23:19

If you think that's bad Rest the base price for a Chiron is a bit over £2million

DonttouchthatLarry · 26/08/2017 23:34

I've wanted a Chrysler Crossfire convertible since they came out 13 years ago - and finally bought one in March this year Grin

BeALert · 27/08/2017 00:14

Top spec Dodge RAM truck

flickertee · 27/08/2017 00:27

DH is getting a Bentayga next month Blush I think it's ugly and much prefer the continental GT thing.

I love minis but if we are going posh, I love a Porsche Panamera 😍

safariboot · 27/08/2017 02:55

My actual dream car, on my dream 'road' Grin.

Is he getting the picnic thing in the boot too flickertree? You must be absolutely loaded to afford one. Aren't they around £200,00?

Cailleach666 · 27/08/2017 07:22

I have my dream car.
It''s a 14 year old Renault. I bought it 4 years ago for £600.

Suits me perfectly.

dudsville · 27/08/2017 07:26

Something old, with style and chrome, lots of chrome, and a fabulous paint job and beautiful interior... it would be unsafe and slow but in my dreams I would have an engine put in that made it environmentally acceptable.

YouRat · 27/08/2017 07:34

Escelade.

ElephantsYeah · 27/08/2017 07:36

Don't care so long as it comes with a chauffeur.

OliviaStabler · 27/08/2017 07:38

A DeLorean

ForalltheSaints · 27/08/2017 07:40

One that is electric and on the roads without traffic congestion, because we have finally had the guts to admit that many with a car licence should not have one, more often because of their behaviour either behind the wheel or elsewhere.

badgerhead · 27/08/2017 07:57

For work purposes, I'm a childminder whose do works with her as well, a top spec LWB VW Shuttle 9 seater or a Mercedes Vito, for my own use a Volvo XC90 preferably when they make them hybrid. But would have problems charging an all electric car as we park on the street, think Victorian semi-detached house & no drive.
My 20 year old daughter dreams of a Range Rover Vogue or a Jeep Cherokee on the original style, not the new rounded edges. (She has more chance than I do on the long run of getting her dream car.)

Tubbyinthehottub · 27/08/2017 09:55

I would love a Tesla

BumWad · 27/08/2017 09:56

MINI John Cooper works

VelvetSpoon · 27/08/2017 10:02

Threads like this were always just theoretical for me as I couldn't drive. Now I've passed my test however....

My next car is likely to be a Kia Rio. Good value, cheap to run and not too big (I drive a tiny car at the moment so need to work my way up in car sizes!)

However in future my sensible dream car is a Kia Sportage. In all white Grin

My less sensible and affordable dream car would be a Range Rover. Also in white obvs.

However my real dream car is a 1960s Citroen DS. Or a Karmann Ghia.
