I'm bored and dreaming about being ridiculously rich able to afford a Bugatti Chiron so I thought I'd ask what everyone else's dream car is to distract myself.

Aston Martin DB9 💖 that's the dream!

buggerthebotox · 26/08/2017 16:45

I think an Alfa Spider convertible. Loads of style.

I have a soft spot for British sporty jobs though, such as the Aston Martin, the Jag and the TVR.

stevie69 · 26/08/2017 16:45

A Mercedes two seater convertible Smile

ThePortlyPinUp · 26/08/2017 16:46

Any station wagon from the 50's/60's preferably with coordinating caravan. Hoping to save up and buy a vintage car in next year or so, DH fancies a British classic though so I might not get my wish.

It's great for kids Lanaa. We fitted four in pretty comfortably but we've just had a fifth so we need to get something bigger again 😕

Aston Martin One 77

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 26/08/2017 16:55

Triumph MK2 GT6 or E type jag. Or a proper Defender.

Currently drive an Audi S4 estate... closest I can get to 'fun' that also has space for the buggy and dog Smile

Orange VW Campervan.

Doesn't even need to be a nice one. A shitty one covered in rust would do me fine.

FunkinEll · 26/08/2017 17:06

I have 4 kids so if we're catering for that then a Merc GLS. But they are bloody massive so not sure where I'd park it out and about.

OP, slightly OT, but is the Q7 not big enough for 5 kids? We have a XC90 and could probably manage with another child and a not massive buggy. What car are you thinking of? not curious at all

Orangebird69 · 26/08/2017 17:07

Range Rover Vogue as a family car. 1980s Mercedes-Benz SL280 for me.

AlmostAJillSandwich · 26/08/2017 17:07

A 2016 model v12 audi r8 sport.

whyareusernamessodifficult · 26/08/2017 17:17

They do fit in Funkin but it's a bit of a squeeze and we're thinking of having another.
I want to import a Ford Expedition but we haven't decided yet.

There's a gorgeous matt silver one that parks outside my central London office. I dream of liberating it and bring it out to our muddy fields!

LadyFairfaxSake · 26/08/2017 17:27

'69 Chevy Camaro.

whyareusernamessodifficult · 26/08/2017 17:32

Inaccessible dream car: E-type Jaguar

Accessible dream car: Mazda Miata

BroomstickOfLove · 26/08/2017 18:09

Inaccessible dream car: original Citizen DS.
Accessible dream car: Skoda Octavia because my mum and in-laws both have one and they seem very sturdy and practical. I can't drive though, so all cars are inaccessible.

HairyToity · 26/08/2017 18:18

I'd like a fiat 500 for when I have older children. Not really into cars though.

RedRosie · 26/08/2017 18:18

Millieja · 26/08/2017 21:20

A 60s E type Jaguar, in cream or very dark blue. Or crimson.

BonnieF · 26/08/2017 21:33

I'm lucky enough to drive a BMW M135i, which is amazing, but I would still love a classic for weekends.

A 1960s Mercedes SL 'Pagoda' would be perfect in light blue like Nico Rosberg's.

SignoraStronza · 26/08/2017 21:40

A black, long wheel base Defender. DH would lobe one too so we're agreed on that. That will be his car/ family ferrying about car.
For my car, I'd supply like an Octavia VRS estate. The 230bhp version though. Wink
