Very happy to delurk to say thank to all of you who research and post here so constantly.
I'm sure there are hundreds if not thousands of us.

My only contribution would be Oh My God! and What The Actual Fuck!

Which doesn't seem terribly helpful really.

It has bothered me a bit that The Mooch's date for starting his job, from which he was ejected before, seems to coincide with Bannon's supposed resignation, which was kept quiet for 2 weeks.

The Nation's Official Memorial to Robert E. Lee Gets a Rewrite

Days after the events in Charlottesville, the National Park Service quietly changed its description of Arlington House, the Virginia mansion that Congress formally named in honor of the Confederate general.

Interesting observation, Bewitched. I'd missed that.

Mind you, I don't believe Bannon had actually resigned on 7 Aug. Both he and 45 have form for claiming something was their plan all along, when things are go awry.

And with all his concern about leaks and loyalty, I can't see 45 keeping someone around him a second after their resignation - especially given the anti-Trump stuff Bannon is coming out with now.

I also can't see 45 managing not to spill at the press conference on 15 Aug, if Bannon had resigned at this point:

REPORTER: Can you tell us how you are feeling about your chief strategist, Mr. Bannon? Can you talk about that?

REPORTER: Steve Bannon --

TRUMP: I never spoke to Mr. Bannon about it.

REPORTER: Can you tell us broadly about – do you still have confidence in Steve?

TRUMP: Well, we’ll see. And look, look, I like Mr. Bannon. He is a friend of mine, but Mr. Bannon came on very late. You know that. I went through 17 senators, governors and I won all the primaries. Mr. Bannon came on very much later than that, and I like him. He is a good man. He is not a racist – I can tell you that. He is a good person, he actually gets very unfair press in that regard. We'll see what happens with Mr. Bannon. He’s a good person, and I think the press treats him frankly very unfairly.

In short, I think Bannon's been unceremoniously dumped and is lying about it.

Spicer resigned and stayed on.

Bannon is something different.
I can't quite figure out if he was pushed or if it's part of a plan to salvage the President. Different sides seem to interpret his words and actions differently.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 20/08/2017 08:39

Bannon's agenda is the Mercers' agenda - not Trump's. He will now go after (from the outside) those in the WH who got in the way of that agenda.

How the German town of Wunsiedel now deals with its annual neo-Nazis march.

PerkingFaintly · 20/08/2017 08:42

I was trying to remember what happened with Spicer.

Roussette · 20/08/2017 09:03

That is great Fiderer.

I also particularly like the tuba player from Charlottsville. Cartoon music at it's best alongside neo nazis just makes them look exceedingly stupid

Yet, Trump seems to find it so difficult.

I love the tuba player.Grin

My son showed the clip to me yesterday. It's just perfect isn't it?

Lweji · 20/08/2017 09:19

Apologies. Yet, later on he does start speaking bullshit. Sure, to oppose speech, use speech. But what when others are yielding guns?

Roussette · 20/08/2017 09:23

SetPhasers it's harmless and must really irritate them... to bring those odious men down to cartoon level is very satisfying...

Lweji · 20/08/2017 10:02
