I'm paying attention.

I wonder what it will be like when there is a normal person in the WH. Are we addicted to the constant tweeting, the horror show/reality TV feel of it all? Will Trump continue to tweet as an ex President - what am I saying, of course he will, conventional restraint is not his style.

cozietoesie · 19/08/2017 22:45

I think that it depends critically on the circumstances - and who the new incumbents are if he goes.

lionheart · 19/08/2017 22:49

Don't know either.

I think Mueller is the better bet.

And whether he's allowed a moblie phone in his new digs. Wink I wonder whether he'll tone down the cheeto tan oncehe's wearing an orange jumpsuit every day...

Golondrina · 19/08/2017 22:56

Marking my place.

lionheart · 19/08/2017 22:56

He can hide the phone in the wall behind the lav (and yes, I have spent too much time watching Orange is the New Black). Smile

bad

I think it would be a Nixon job.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 19/08/2017 23:06

Does he not use spell checker? E and A aren't next to each other on the keyboard. I know there are jokes about him tweeting when he's in the 'small room' but in reality do you think he's alone when he does it or is he sitting in the middle of lunch or a spray tan or something and is tweeting away? The mind boggles and not on a nice way.

If you're thinking 'heel', you would have no reason to change it, would you?

Fekko · 19/08/2017 23:08

I thought he dictated his tweets to the nice new comms person.

cozietoesie · 19/08/2017 23:09

Sorry, bad.

Just watch the first minute of this if you can bear it.

cozietoesie · 19/08/2017 23:25

That was nearly all I could bear.

InigoTaran · 19/08/2017 23:36

It definitely feels like an addiction at times. I wonder if I'm addicted to being continually outraged? However, I do think I'd much prefer life to be peaceful, normal and progressive than this shitstorm!

cozietoesie · 19/08/2017 23:38

Read the thread title again. Smile

MsHooliesCardigan · 19/08/2017 23:41

Inigo I know what you mean. I keep saying I will have a news/Trump free day but I can't stop myself from having a quick peek and then I get sucked in again.

badbadhusky · 19/08/2017 23:43

My feeling is that Trump will be gone by Christmas (pleeeeease Santa), which will free me up to persist & protest about Brexshit.

TheNorthWestPawsage · 19/08/2017 23:44

Since Brexit I've more or less woken up every morning feeling cross! It's a good job I've inherited good genes or I'd look at least 20 years older by now...
...although it does seem like more people are offering me a seat on the bus now. Hmm

MyOtherProfile · 19/08/2017 23:45

Badbadhusky I wish I could believe that. I so hope it's true.

cozietoesie · 19/08/2017 23:49

Oh Dear. Offering you seats?............Grin
