Brilliant!!

I got locked in my Nannas once when I was small. In a similar old-people-bickering and not paying attention sort of way, they thought I was already loaded in the car and locked up. It all happened very quickly until they realised and drove back. Must have been all of a 7 minute drama...

*Man eventually arrived 2 hours later to let me out. Opened it from the outside, but not quite believing that I had been locked in came inside and closed the door.

Then there were 5 of us locked in for another 2 hours until someone else arrived. He had to take the door off to get us out.*

@GreenTulips we had all ready spoke about over coffee and scones about their first trip to IKEA together so I knew it was new and needed building. I did it out of respect for Richard to be fair as in true mumsnet etiquette I've decided June's a massive dick narcissist towards him.

😂😂😂

RaininSummer · 07/08/2017 18:01

All of my windows and doors are key locked if I am away from home, not that unusual. However years back I was burgled by thieves who used a credit card somehow to open the door. Might be worth a try but phoning police would be easiest. Why haven't you done that op?

Whoops just read update.

PelorusJack · 07/08/2017 18:06

I'd have just climbed out a window and not worried about the alarm.

Lweji · 07/08/2017 18:07

I'd have read the thread.

SnickersWasAHorse · 07/08/2017 18:07

DH has locked my in the house and had to come home from work. I actually can't remember why the fuck I didn't have a key.

He has also locked me inside the car for all of 10 minutes which traumatized me for months as I had mild claustrophobia, which is, because of that episode, now horrendous and stops me doing a lot of things. Twat. Who new you can't open a fucking Audi from the inside when locked.

IloveBanff · 07/08/2017 18:10

OP, a lot of us are surprised that your neighbours live 3 miles away from you. Can you explain that please? Just how rural are you?

metalmum15 · 07/08/2017 18:10

Never accept an invite for dinner if the best thing you can find to eat is micro chips and pot noodle.

But more importantly, how is your friends hair? 😉

Natsku · 07/08/2017 18:11

Well that was a satisfying update

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 07/08/2017 18:13

My husband deadlocked our front door which couldn't be opened from inside once deadlocked.
I had to post the keys out the letterbox to neighbour to unlock me!

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 07/08/2017 18:13

Is the grandson fit?

Lweji · 07/08/2017 18:13

CoolSideOfThePillow · 07/08/2017 18:14

CoolSideOfThePillow · 07/08/2017 18:15
