Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

Do you have plans for some reed panels or similar to block their view of your garden?

Thank you for the new thread Wattyyy. I know it's been a nightmare for you but these threads are glorious. So often on Mumsnet on similar cheeky fucker threads the cheeky fucker neighbour has a sulk for a few days but doesn't have to deal with any real repercussions, but your CFN is in big shit. This is going to cost them £££.

Of course they've gone on holiday for a couple of weeks. Hopefully a romantic one (not sure the builders would have updated them actually).

It will be the perfect storm for them when they return.

Is it possible to ask the planning office to put a do not cross tape across the door?

My friend runs an architectural reclamation yard, we are trying to work out what the builders might have got for it.

I'm thinking maybe developers hoping to put doors in to give the illusion of access never use them then sell up at let new owners deal with the fact they can't even open the doors!! Bloody stupid developers to not think about planning permission but that's my guess.

I would so love to see a before and after picture. I know you think it'll be outing, but let's face it, it's rather a unique situation so anyone who knows you already knows it's you.

Well, nothing is going to happen until the neighbours return & that could be anytime/sometime/never!
