Okay I thought I'd start this for when they inevitably show their faces!!

I have a slight update - I managed to catch the nice neighbour at the other side (I think he'd heard the commotion and was loitering about waiting for me )

He was gobsmacked! Apparently he's lived here for thirty years and has never heard anything like it. I told him I'd keep him updated and he asked if i wanted to come in for a cup of tea, I politely declined hahahah. Glad I now have a nice normal neighbour on my side!

Have you thought of the title for thread 4 yet? Bit worried as we are page 20...it would be awful to lose the thread before CFN show their faces !

I can't believe how quickly these threads are filling up. Struggling to keep up. Worried I'll miss the neighbours returning.

Has this appeared in the Daily Fail yet? Doubt they'll be able to resist a thread this popular.

Wouldn't surprise me if CFN's are aware if this thread, or somebody who knows them or the builders.

Is it wrong that I feel like a kid at Christmas waiting for CFN to come home?

@MistyMinge Am sure u r right about SOMEONE knowing them and they have been alerted to the threads. If you KNOW the CFNs pls post here and dish the dirt - anonymously...we are DESPERATE for any info :)

Wattyyy have you actually seen the CFNs before? Or have you just heard them? If so can we have a vague description of them approx age etc., are they a little pale from no access to outdoors perhaps?

A family member of mine lived in an Important National Trust property.
I used to love visiting there because must of it had to be left in the state that Important Person left it in.
When I tell people that I used to play in Important Person's office they are amazed.
