Couldn't remember the title of the last one so thought that'd do!

No sign of them at all, went out and looked through and all the lights are off, definitely not in. WTF IS GOING ON????

Do not let the builders or the GFNs take away the rubbish.

The rubbish is evidence.

Brilliant updates on a great thread Wattyyyy ,and thanks for the regular updates , they've been riveting ,so I hope you'll be starting a third thread with more updates.
Surely whoever handled the letting and the council rates department should have the new neighbours details /Phone number .
They're going to get a he*l of a shock when they return

Oldraver · 28/07/2017 12:17

I think I would be making sure those doors cant be opened...Someone mentioned tie wraps but I reckon a burly builder coming back for big bits of brick could barge that out the way. You can get D locks for patio doors, though why should you have to buy anything.

Any chance of a very heavy seat to shove up against the door ?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 28/07/2017 12:17

I think CF garden threads calls for Gin or Pimms

Gin - Pimm's is muck!

viques · 28/07/2017 12:17

emmyrose there is a diagram on the first thread which shows the total audacity of the bommy knocker neighbours.

Coffeeonadrip · 28/07/2017 12:17

This thread is the best thing that has happened to me this week. (Sad I know!) Well done OP

Mix56 · 28/07/2017 12:19

they can re use the bricks, the wall needs to be rebuilt, & would be better with the original bricks

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 28/07/2017 12:21

With regards to reinstatement, if a case near me is anything to go by:

They will need to apply for planning permission for the reinstatement

They will need to retain heritage specialists whom will specify the exact bricks / mortar / windows to use (and they may well need to be custom made). They will also have to rebuild in exactly the same style / method as previously which may well require specialist builders.

FUNM · 28/07/2017 12:21

When the window is back you should get a small pool and a blowup flamingo and sit there all day sipping cocktails staring at them :)

TakeMe2Insanity · 28/07/2017 12:21

Brilliant update.

I hope the builders don't come back and try and take the 'rubbish' once the CFN see the notice.

TimeFliesWhenYoureHavingGin · 28/07/2017 12:23

I love you Wattyyyy, thank you for updating.

I'm reading this thread and my Kindle and both have been page turners. Much needed on my journey Grin

Wattyyyy · 28/07/2017 12:24

FUNM I love that idea.

I have started a new thread just in case!

Brilliant news. Omg you have to keep us posted . What will happen when they come back. I bet your hovering out the windows and never wanted them to come back so quickly!!!

Brenna24 · 28/07/2017 12:26

Is there something heavy you can put in front of the doors to stop the builders/CFNs trying to get in and remove the evidence?

Love the idea of the paddling pool - I think I would be doing that now so that they get the full length view from their lively new doors giant windows. Grin

AwakeCantSleep · 28/07/2017 12:26

Delurking to say wonderful thread OP! In the interest of cheeky fucker surveillance bird watching, you could get a trail cam for the garden:

trail cams on amazon

They are motion triggered and work at night Smile I have one in my garden to watch the birds/hedgie/cats (sadly no CFN - all my neighbours are fab).

SchadenfreudePersonified · 28/07/2017 12:30

BEAUTIFUL diagram SPOOKLE

I hereby appoint you Official Diagramist to MN.

Blueemeraldagain · 28/07/2017 12:31

What an amazing pair of threads. I say you should be knighted for services to updating.

I'm about to depart for a weekend wedding with camping (Hmm) in the countryside and really, really hope there will be network coverage!
