OMG okay I'm probably going to forget half of this, I should have taken notes!
The lovely planning lady was there with another planning man and a young lad who I think might've been on work experience he looked about 12 and rather bewildered anyway..
They didn't tell me a huge amount, however, I kind of hovered around inside at some points and could over hear them. The CFN HAVE MASSIVELY BROKEN EVERY REGULATION UNDER THE SUN.
They are in so much trouble, the officers literally took every detail to within an inch of their lives. I heard them calling to triple check that there was DEFINITELY no application for the work as they just could not believe it - they said they'd never seen anything like it!!
CFN HAVE 100% broken the law and will need to reinstate the window. They asked if I knew the builders and I've emailed them all the photos etc that I took for which they were extremely grateful. 
I've to give them a call if I see anyone anywhere near the bloody doors or in my garden - she even gave me her direct number.
They also uncovered a massive piece of the original brickwork that seemed to have been hidden under the bags of random stuff left by the builders - don't know what to make of that.
