To think this was a really cunty and odd thing to do

I had parked in the local co op car park and When I came out I'd been almost completely blocked in. it's a tiny car park anyway. I had to back out vv slowly and carefully. There wasn't enough space to turn around and go out forwards so my only option was to reverse out. I'm not feeling too great, it's red hot and 3 dc were all going apeshit, bickering etc. Whilst looking around to make sure it was safe to reverse I noticed a man next to my car, really staring at me, watching me, sort of smirking, arms crossed. It made me feel intimidated tbh. Kept slowly going back and I can see the exit.

Bloke still staring to the point where DC even noticed and said what's that guy looking at

I felt so weird and under pressure. Suddenly I heard a CRUNCH and my car jolts my heart sank

So out I get and I've scraped my bumper on a small bollard that was out of my eyeline 😰

And this cunt is laughing. he is actually laughing. Smaller dc are crying because the jolt / bang scared them

I have a very nice Audi (well it was nice 😰😰) It's not new but it's lovely and my pride and joy. And I'm female. I can't help but feel these facts are connected and the twat was hoping I'd bump the car cos it clearly made his day 😡

Btw I 100% realise it was no ones fault but mine that I didn't see the bollard. My issue is if I saw someone struggling to negotiate a situation like mine i would warn them if there was something in the way

Men can be such idiots when it comes to cars, parking, driving.

I had a man almost block me in outside my crèche and when he saw me coming back to my car - which was bigger, nicer and newer than his - he kindly told me that if I was going to hit something reversing out, could it please be the flowers and not his car. Pretty sure he wouldn't have said it to my DH.

Anyway, don't give this petty man a second thought. He was jealous of your car and is a twat. Hope you get it fixed without too much trouble.

As an aside can we reclaim the word 'cunt' as a fun earthy way to refer to the most wonderful part of the female body? It is actually preferable to the clinical 'vagina' which actually means 'sword sheath'. I think calling people a 'cunt' should be reserved for the most laudable actions and the best of people. Don't waste it on an shit like him.
BTW I'm also all for calling people a cunt on Facebook. When I'm brave enough I'll start with my mum who has just driven back home after looking after my DD for a week (and making my home spotless). Now she is the biggest cunt EVER!!!

I am also an Audi driving woman and can totally relate to 'men of a certain age' gawping when I'm parking. Thankfully I haven't cocked it up yet but I'm sure there will come a day when a bloke tries to help and shit goes down.

I'm so pissed off on your behalf. I definatley would have said something though and it would have included a swear word if my DC was out of earshot. Like I did when a group of women laughed at me when I went into a petrol station and realised I had forgotten my purse. Horrible witches.

On the flip side though I did have a man very helpfully help me pass between 2 terribly parked cars the other day which you probably could have gotten a bus through but for some reason I was really struggling with so there are plenty of good people to balance out the cunty ones.

Do people hate Audi drivers? I thought the hate was for drivers of BMW's and Chelsea tractors. I've considered an Audi when we eventually get rid of our practical family car.
Re attitudes to cars DH and I own a 7-seater and a small very unsexy hatchback which we both drive interchangeably. I have definitely noticed a difference in attitude of some other drivers depending on which car I'm driving -I'm more likely to be pushed by other drivers when I'm in the hatchback.

CircleofWillis I agree with you that the word cunt should not be used as a term of abuse, even though I use it myself, and have done on this thread in that way.
Interesting isn't it that calling someone a cock or a dick, although abusive, is on a completely different level to calling someone a cunt.
So I'm all for reclaiming it. Your mother sounds like an absolute cunt btw

Another thing that irritates me is when I'm waiting to do a right turn across on-coming traffic and a driver very kindly pauses to let me across, but does so by signalling with their hands in a pointy, imperious and inpatient way. Can't they just flash their lights and smile?

Rolf before I had the Audi I had a very old but very lovely and reliable VW people carrier. No one seemed to notice it at all and I very rarely had cunty behaviour from other drivers ...but in the Audi I'm always being "raced", having people drive up my arse, cut me up etc. Then of course cunty starey man

But they can all fuck off 🤣
