New thread so that we can await this afternoon's hearing at 1400 (UK time)

Let's try to keep this one as sensible and measured as the past 7 threads have been.

Wtf? Do they really think someone would rig an MRI scanner?

I suspect they don't want a scan as then the evidence will be "real" IYSWIM.

So, does this mean that Charlie's parents have been refusing to give consent for monitoring procedures?

So GOSH were slated yesterday for not having the head measurements but it is his parents refusing the scan?

So the judge is saying that the parents don't want an MRI scan to measure Charlie's head ?

If I'm reading that right not only should he rule that Charlie has all those tests done, but if the parents refuse he should be made a ward of court.

Family could have measured with a tape measure if they wished.

I think GOSH are showing remarkable restraint throughout this whole ordeal.
Part of me wants them to play a little more hard ball. But I have nothing but admiration and respect for their stance

Could imagine they may have refused as they don't trust the hospital.

LovelyBath77, apparently connie has done that, she has its grown 2 cms, thats is not accurate if he has swelling which it looks like and it has to be the skull thats done not the head.

The family did do that Lovely, a few days ago, and their measurements were much bigger than GOSH's.

I'm stunned still by that bit.

Connie saidnyesterday that she has measured the head. I assume she thought that was enough proof.

The fact that they are refusing tests in a way shows they probably do know the hospital are telling the truth and don't want it to be out there. (My take on it)

This is getting dangerously close to a total farce. There shouldn't be an option to deny diagnostic scans if that is what you are basing your argument on.

Other 15 are dead.
