Is the counsel for the parents asking for a new judge in the hearing?

Sorry, cross post. Wow, shocked at this.

The judge is basically being cross examined now which I am fairly sure is a good way of getting his back up.
"Armstrong to Mr Justice Francis: are you prepared to change your mind. Judge: I wasn’t expressing a view. I did my job."

What does this mean?

"Judge: if you bring me new evidence then I will be the first to welcome a different outcome. It would be wrong to change judge."

Why have these so called world experts not stepped in before now then? As I understand it, Newcastle has the experts in mitochondria and GOSH have been conferring with them and they have agreed with GOSH, so why all of a sudden have these other experts come along and all agreed different?

I'm pretty shocked that after begging GOSH to give them more time to make memories with Charlie, they appear to have spent very little time with him.

The CA will turn their anger on to the Judge. And the family will endorse that line of campaigning.

Words like tried and justice make it done as if they think it's a criminal case!

Challenging an impartial member of the judiciary to change his mind is just so wrong.

He will make his mind up based on the evidence, not on what counsel says in open court.

This is just awfully emotive, and it should not happen in court.

I am bewildered now.

How long are they going to make that poor child suffer while adults thrash this out?

Does anyone know what the reporting restrictions referred to are?

I assume the ones banning identification of the doctors and other hcps.

I'm only following the tweets but the judge is coming across well. Glad he didn't allow himself to be bullied
