DD is getting that new meningitis injection next week. She wants me to come with her. AIBU to say she is old enough to go alone?

How long will the appointment take?

Just how much housework is there to do?

I'd definitely go if asked. It's a parent thing. Just a bit of extra support or company when facing a not terribly nice experience. I'm sure you can get back to the dusting afterwards

Don't be a miserable cow.
Thank your arse she wants you there.

She wants you there- that's really touching. Why not treasure being wanted? - it's not going to last much longer.

Obviously, she could maybe do this without you. If you have some brain surgery to do, or important Brexit negotiations to conclude, you should maybe decline.
