We live in a close of four houses on side of the road- it's literally our road and then the houses on the right hand side. Driveways can take 2 cars in all 4 houses.

Neighbour knocked earlier today to say they are going on holiday until Friday. Neglected to mention that family were coming and leaving their cars here.

Anyway one of these said cars is blocking DHs car in. We cannot get it out without me reversing mine, clearing some junk out of the garage so he can drive in to reverse sideways into my space and out.

Garage is full of shit. It's stuff we can't store in the house because it's damp etc.

AIBU to consider hiring a tow truck to get the car moved?? I'm going to have to take DH to work for 6am now Angry

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this as I've not read the full thread but...

If you used to feed their cats do you still have keys to their house? You could nip in and look for the offending car's keys and move it?

notapizzaeater · 28/06/2017 21:16

Have you a local traffic warden ?

ChrisPrattsFace · 28/06/2017 21:19

What Migraleve said? how can you get yours out and not his? I'm confused!

chocolateworshipper · 28/06/2017 21:23

Definitely not place-marking

Eminybob · 28/06/2017 21:24

I think that this never happened because we all know that if there's no diagram then it didn't happen.

WindyScales · 28/06/2017 21:31

So what's the update OP?

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 28/06/2017 21:40

I know it's MN law, but really? Stop with the demanding of diagrams!
Do you not have any imagination?

Readytomakechanges · 28/06/2017 21:48

Did the police turn up in the end?

Collaborate · 28/06/2017 22:13

With a bit of luck the police will tow the car away. then this thread will develop a life of its own until at least the fall out after the neighbours return from their holiday and go to war with OP for being so unreasonable for having the twatty car removed.

Migraleve · 28/06/2017 22:15

I do yes, but I'm struggling to work out how one car can pass the space but the other can't. So that's why I asked for the diagram.

Tapandgo · 28/06/2017 22:18

Police should act - keep at them

justkeepswimmingg · 28/06/2017 23:43

How have I only just seen this thread?! Parking threads are my favourite. But yes OP we need that diagram Grin. What inconsiderate arse holes!

hmcAsWas · 29/06/2017 07:43

"I know it's MN law, but really? Stop with the demanding of diagrams!
Do you not have any imagination?"

Agree - utterly tedious refrain

HappyFlappy · 29/06/2017 09:38

"I know it's MN law, but really? Stop with the demanding of diagrams!

It's part of our Parking Thread culture. We are entitled. You can't deny us our cultural heritage, you Threadist Parkophobe!

GlitterRollerSkate · 29/06/2017 09:53

What selfish neighbours you have! Hope you get it resolved soon.

PS diagram...?

Groovee · 29/06/2017 17:34

Any update?

WeMustGetOffTheMountain · 29/06/2017 17:35

Any update OP? You can't leave us hanging like this!

StealthPolarBear · 29/06/2017 17:47

:)

WetsTheFinger · 29/06/2017 17:51

Just clean out the garage..? Seems easier than everyone taking days off work and getting the police involved Confused

kali110 · 29/06/2017 18:15

Why should she have to move stuff out of her garage just because her neighbours been an inconsiderate knob?

wowfudge · 29/06/2017 18:19

If there is space on the neighbour's drive I don't understand why the OP or her DH hasn't just parked there and had done with it.

SnickersWasAHorse · 29/06/2017 18:24

Can I just clarify?
Do I understand correctly that you can get DH's car out but not park it on the drive again?
I understand why you are pissed off but to be able to manage this could you not get DH's car out and then park it elsewhere?

Gingersdohavesouls · 29/06/2017 18:26

Shamelessly placemarking Grin

happypoobum · 29/06/2017 18:28

Call the police again and again.

Say there is a very strange smell coming from the car................

mummyB1 · 29/06/2017 18:39

Place marking
