Might get crucified for this but....

She won.

She's had a lot to manage a response and a
Plan to deal with since she became PM.

I didn't vote for her. My partner did.

I feel a bit sorry for her.

Anyone else?

OP posts:
MajorBumsore · 16/06/2017 22:51

Nope

SmileEachDay · 16/06/2017 22:52

What's your AIBU?

But no. I don't.

Alittlepotofrosie · 16/06/2017 22:52

Nope. Not in the least. The Tory party deserve to be put through the wringer for what they've done to this country and she called all this latest bullshit all down on herself by calling an election. And unless you're in her constituency then your partner didn't vote for her, he voted for your local tory.

DearMrDilkington · 16/06/2017 22:52
Biscuit
Tapandgo · 16/06/2017 22:54

No - I'm sorry for the victims

This woman has consistently shown herself incapable of and unwilling to talk to the people directly in this country - wether in TV debates or on site emergency ' meet the community in need' events.

She took the reins of power and should give them up in shame.
(and that is regardless of her policies and odious coalition proposal)

AliceTown · 16/06/2017 22:55

Won seems like such an odd word when the majority of the electorate did not vote for her party.

threesocksmorgan · 16/06/2017 22:56

nah
i do not feel sorry for her. WTF is it that we keep being told to feel sorry for her.?
like scameron she is vile and will use this any situation to suit her...remember his shutting about debate on disability and the NHS
can't understand how people can feel sorry for people like that.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 16/06/2017 22:56

Feel sorry for her?GrinGrin.

Have you been on the pop OP?Gin

TheColdDoesBotherMeAnyway · 16/06/2017 22:56

In a word...no

She called this election. No one else. She was arrogant to the extreme and it backfired.

I feel sorry for the victims of austerity. I feel sorry for the residents of Grenfell who she can't even bring herself to speak to.

But Theresa May? No. Not even a little bit. History will judge her and her ilk.

Meanwhile things will get far worse before they get better. May she lie in her bed of nails. The one she made for herself.

MacarenaFerreiro · 16/06/2017 22:56

You're wasting your breath OP, nobody on MN has a good word to say about Theresa May. She;s an evil, baby killing, puppy torturing Tory, remember.

Now Jeremy on the other hand, he's positively Christ-like. What a God of man! Isn't he just the best thing since sliced bread?

(Didn't vote for either of them. Not a leftie.)

AmyGardner · 16/06/2017 22:58

Do I feel sorry for a woman whose naked cynicism and power-grabbing has put her in a position where I bet she wishes she could resign, but whose ugly ego won't let her?

No i fucking don't and I can't even believe you might suggest it.

ivykaty44 · 16/06/2017 22:59

Pm goes to site of disaster and ignores victims of the disaster

There will be a backlash

thegoodnameshadgone · 16/06/2017 22:59

Smile each day
Didn't know where else to post. Just am I unreasonable to feel s bit sorry for her.

OP posts:
user1495484765 · 16/06/2017 22:59

She is not touchy freely but she isn't the devil incarnate. She is not personally responsible for this tragic event but the left have been encouraging everyone to hate her, including children, because they lost the election and they see this as an opportunity to overthrow the democratically elected government.. Women always get it in the neck much more than men in the same position so that is an element too. I don't like her but she is being ripped to shred because of her gender and social ineptness. She is a doer, not an emoter. A bit like a political Princess Anne.

AmyGardner · 16/06/2017 22:59

Yeah, you are.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 16/06/2017 22:59

Nope. Her arrogance is incredible. On what planet was calling a general election within weeks of the start of brexit negotiations a good idea. We're likely looking at another general election before the years out and I'd be surprised if we don't see increased tensions in northern Ireland since Sinn Fein view the Tory's alliance with DUP at odds with the good Friday agreement.

leccybill · 16/06/2017 23:01

I make a habit of trying to see the good in everyone. Trying to forgive, to understand.

But I can't find a single redeeming feature about this cold-hearted, self-centred cow. Feel sorry for her? No.

Iamtheresurrection · 16/06/2017 23:01

I do. She looks ill.

In my opinion, She's dammed if she does and dammed if she doesn't.

I never voted for the conservatives.

threesocksmorgan · 16/06/2017 23:02

oh bless she looks ill.....my heart bleeds not.
maybe she should go claim PIP or ESA....

AmyGardner · 16/06/2017 23:02

user you can't be a leader in the 21st century and not emote.

She's not a leader of the local fucking tax office; she's chosen to be a leader of people.

People who are terrified of burning to death in their homes, people who are scared they'll be kicked out of the UK or lose their livelihoods due to Brexit.

Has she once been able to look them in the eye and reassure them on a human level?

No. So she's not a leader. Or not a good enough one by any measure.

Bloomed · 16/06/2017 23:03

I'd save your pity for those who deserve it

SmileEachDay · 16/06/2017 23:03

Oh...

You feel how you feel.

Don't understand why you felt the need to post.

SuburbanRhonda · 16/06/2017 23:04

they lost the election and they see this as an opportunity to overthrow the democratically elected government.

If you have any more details about the overthrowing thing, please do post them here. I think you'd get a lot of interest Smile

KidLorneRoll · 16/06/2017 23:05

Nope. The sooner she fucks off in the same direction as cameron, the better.

Cunts.

Postagestamppat · 16/06/2017 23:06

"Won" is right because the Conservatives are the party who are in power as the government. I do feel sorry bordering pity for her as she has shown herself to be pretty much incompetent at her job. Also there has been much jeering, which reeks of bullying. But on the other hand she has made some dreadful decisions and the only reason she is still pm is because to change the person in charge so close to brexit discussions would bugger things up even more.

In a nutshell, I do feel sorry her because she is being humiliated on a national and international stage (even if it is self-inflicted).
