may couldn't have the decency to visit the victims of Grenfell tower ' due to security threat'
but HM the queen and Prince William were OK to show kindness to those effected.

Nothing she does surprises me anymore, she's stubborn, selfish, heartless and cold and seriously deluded.

TrueWierdness · 16/06/2017 12:56

Just listening to Jeremy Vine and I agree with the speaker that's just been on...just like the local authority in that area, Theresa May didn't SEE or HEAR the residents.

PonderLand · 16/06/2017 12:57

I saw news footage of her visiting the hospital today? I've heard when she went to speak to the emergency crews she only spoke to the people in charge etc and never spoke to the firefighters that were on the scene? No idea if that's 100% accurate but it wouldn't surprise me!

MrsELM21 · 16/06/2017 12:59

The sooner she goes the better, ridiculous that it was unsafe for her but safe for the royals, she has absolutely no warmth or compassion about her gosh I didn't realise I was quite so angry

ghostyslovesheets · 16/06/2017 13:00

oh ffs it's not a revolution - he is suggesting the state buy back empty properties owned and un occupied but investors - not frog marching Binky out of her flat!

There will be a need for new social housing

ghostyslovesheets · 16/06/2017 13:00

Ds1 tells me she's unable to cope with any conflict or confrontation. She's a poor communicator and just can't deal with people. Probably explains why she couldn't hack the tv debates.

She's a lame duck Hmm

christinarossetti · 16/06/2017 13:11

Her decision to call a snap election was so ill considered. By putting herself in the spotlight, she's exposed her multiple and untenable areas of ineptitude and inadequacy her her role.

There is much more personal criticism of her about now than there was even two months ago.

NormaSmuff · 16/06/2017 13:14

she is not a charismatic people person.

NormaSmuff · 16/06/2017 13:15

but she has been badly advised. if the queen and prince william can do it, she can.

IloveBanff · 16/06/2017 13:15

I've just watched the Queen listening sympathetically to residents of Grenfell tower who are traumatised by their ordeal. The contrast between her and May is striking. Recent events have shown May for who she really is and it's chilling.

Artofnoise1 · 16/06/2017 13:15

She's a cold hearted pathetic waste of space. Even some of her fellow tories can't

believe that she didn't go to meet the people in Grenfell.

Time to get rid of her once and for .

Artofnoise1 · 16/06/2017 13:18

I'm no fan of the royals, but fair play to the queen and William. They at least seem to have some semblance of human emotion about them.

They actually got in amongst the people and listened to them.

May really is a disgrace. I hope she's hounded out of officeAngry

NormaSmuff · 16/06/2017 13:20

tbf she is pretty busy what with imminent brexit and dup

IloveBanff · 16/06/2017 13:21

I've been really angry at Tories defending May by saying she's not interested in "political grandstanding" referring to Jeremy Corbyn's obviously genuine visit to support and listen to people at the scene. It's so cynical and nasty to be completely dismissive of a normal human emotional response to this tragedy.

VladmirsPoutine · 16/06/2017 13:27

This is hardly surprising. I remember watching her responses during the TV debates and the way she responded to the nurse who hadn't had a pay rise in x amount of years: 'there's no magic money tree' and the way she responded to the woman who'd really struggled to get mental health support.
I mean she even managed to make taking the bins out as awkward as hell when she was on the One Show.

She lacks an ability to relate to others. Many people lack that ability, different is those people didn't seek to be PM.

Butteredparsnip1ps · 16/06/2017 13:33

And the thing is JC is so much better at this kind of thing and knows it. The contrast couldn't be more stark.

Pancakeflipper · 16/06/2017 13:34

I thought she was visiting the injured at hospitals today (as if your life wasn't crap enough at the moment - then the PM rocks up).

I'm no May fan but I thought she was talking to those in charge to get an understanding so the enquiry and looking into building regs etc is happening asap. And meeting some DUP people in the afternoon cos she's no friends.

Iwantacampervan · 16/06/2017 13:34

Someone was defending her on the radio this morning saying that she might have been shouted at if she met residents yesterday - oh dear !

TheresaMay · 16/06/2017 13:34

I am reading these descriptions of me with interest.

Is listening to the hoi polloi general public part of the job description?

Cadenza1818 · 16/06/2017 13:35

I agree it's not right but doesn't anyone feel that corbyn is using this opportunity to look good... Or am I super cynical?! I may have watched one too many episodes of the good wife recently.... Theres always an ulterior motive!

dataandspot · 16/06/2017 13:37

Mays gone to a hospital with 8 patients from the grenfell Fire. 6 are in critical care do she can only have spoken to two people at most!!

Iwantacampervan · 16/06/2017 13:38

Perhaps they'll remake the 'I don't want to be visited by Margaret Thatcher' donor cards.
