may couldn't have the decency to visit the victims of Grenfell tower ' due to security threat'
but HM the queen and Prince William were OK to show kindness to those effected.

Awful woman really.

She wouldn't know compassion for anyone if it hit her in the face...

notknownatthisaddress · 16/06/2017 19:37

Yeah yeah yeah!!! She's an evil awful monster with no heart or soul or feeling............ yawn

Wish people would change the fucking record....... Hmm

LouiseBrooks · 16/06/2017 19:39

we are lucky to have her Shock

I just watched the interview on BBC. Bloody hopeless.

She was told people think she's misjudged the mood, it looks like she doesn't care, that when she left the hospital today people shouted coward at her and she just started parroting sound bites. The only time she sounded like a human being was when she talked about a woman in the hospital who had escaped literally in her t shirt and knickers.

She is inept, both socially and politically. She might be a nice woman if you met her at the church fete or whatever but she is just not up to the job.

IsabelleSE19 · 16/06/2017 19:40

I don't believe that she's without feeling, but she doesn't know how to convey it. It's a continuation of the election campaign in that she keeps people at arm's length. I get the impression she's rather socially awkward.

IloveBanff · 16/06/2017 19:43

LouiseBrooks Yes, that's want I meant in my post above. She just waits for the interviewer to stop talking, ignores what she's said and starts to repeat "What I have done...." ad nauseum. She always does this. It's completely disrespectful to the interviewer and to the viewers waiting for her to answer the points. It's as if she's a robot who can't understand what's been said, but just repeats the same phrase when there is a pause.

upperlimit · 16/06/2017 19:43

Well she's in the wrong fucking job then, isn't she?

FlapsMcGee · 16/06/2017 19:45

She is incredibly awkward. It's painful to watch. The way she behaved re: the tower survivors makes her seem inhuman. Very strange.

Tiredemma · 16/06/2017 19:46

I think TM has just shown over the past 8 weeks that she is inept and incompetent. She really isn't fit to lead government.

DeleteOrDecay · 16/06/2017 19:47

we are lucky to have her

I would laugh if the situation wasn't so fucking tragic. I mean really.

NotACleverName · 16/06/2017 19:48

Hmm. A Tory PM visiting the scene of a disaster but not meeting those affected by it. Something entirely out of the ordinary, no?

oh dear PMs going to get a lot of hate well deserved.
FlapsMcGee · 16/06/2017 19:48

I don't think she is heartless at all. I think she comes across that way though, due to aforementioned awkwardness and bad decisions. Unfortunately she is PM and she needs to step up or step down!

IloveBanff · 16/06/2017 19:49

upperlimit Yes she needs to do a job which is completely solitary. Maybe a lighthouse keeper. It seems to me that what she does like is to feel that she is in charge. I think her language reflects that feeling. She says "I" when other politicians would say "we".

Spangles63 · 16/06/2017 19:52

The more I see and hear about this woman, the more I think she is a robot, not a human being. She is cold, aloof and totally lacking in any empathy whatsoever.

msgrinch · 16/06/2017 19:56

It's not really about whether shes a Tory or Labour or Lord Buckethead to be honest. It's about her, her being our prime minister, her taking days to actually go and see these poor people!

It's not about what any of us on this thread think or feel, the residents/families have voiced their opinions on our PM, they want answers from her, truth and support from her. The Queen and Prince William have been and shown compassion. They want our "leader/s" to help then in person, to try and support them or even just show her face properly. Yes she'll get boo'd and heckled, tough shit, she needs to be there. Many others have.

Put the news on right now, listen to them talk! Hear what they're saying. This isn't about mumsnet not liking her FFS, this is about our PM not doing her job properly, her job isn't just promising things, it's leading by example! There will be riots if she doesn't start stepping up and giving proper support, show that she will step up, prove they will get help.

Roomba · 16/06/2017 19:56

she has chosen hospital because injured, hospitalised people in great pain are less likely to really sock it to her.

That's exactly what I said to my friend earlier. I also found myself remembering a relative who used to carry around a little wallet card that said something like, 'In the event of a major disaster I am not to be visited in hospital by Margaret Thatcher'.

"She lacks an ability to relate to others. Many people lack that ability, different is those people didn't seek to be PM."

Not to offend anybody and admitting that this is probably a naive question but could the prime minister be on the spectrum?

scaryteacher · 16/06/2017 20:12

Tabasco TM (Teresa May) is the PM (Prime Minister). HM is the Queen (HM stands for Her Majesty), and thus above politics.

Cary2012 · 16/06/2017 20:13

If she was in touch with the people of Britain, we wouldn't be in the very vulnerable position we are in.

She has no idea of how many live.

Only weeks ago, she was talking about our country's prosperity.

Prosperous? UK? Really?

I've been around a good few years, and I have never seen food banks as the norm. Neither have my elderly parents.

This woman is so out of touch with the pulse of real life in the UK, that if it wasn't so frightening it would be laughable.

StrangeLookingParasite · 16/06/2017 20:26

I think he's a nasty piece of work, and that he and his followers are trying to harness the rage, shock and grief associated with this disaster for their own political ends.

I don't think this is true at all. He has long been very good at face to face politics.

OohMavis · 16/06/2017 20:28

Not to offend anybody and admitting that this is probably a naive question but could the prime minister be on the spectrum?

Oh come on now.

Covfefe · 16/06/2017 20:37

She's clearly out of her depth. She's in a state of constantly shitting herself that she'll be found to be incompetent. She was too scared to do the TV debates and too scared to meet the people. But think of the alternative. Imagine Boris at your hospital bed, or Gove!

Cary2012 · 16/06/2017 20:42

OohMavis, no, she's not on the spectrum, she's incompetent, out of her depth with zero natural compassion or understanding.

She does not have the "Diana touch'. Diana's son does, the younger one more so. Will 'gets it', hence his appearance. His Grandmother doesn't 'get it' but has been told to appear that she does.

Imbeingunreasonable · 16/06/2017 20:45

In any case she needs to go. And soon.
