AIBU or does this look like my husband has contacted an escort for sex??

Sorry for rambling but I'm shaking and fuming right now.

Hubby came home today from working abroad and I've just seen this screenshot in his IPad gallery. (Not snooping, daughter and I were scrolling through pics on there from when we last visited)
We are at his mothers for the night and it's the first time he's seen her in 10 months so I don't want to make a scene.
I have confronted him and at first he looked confused like I was showing him a picture of a fucking dog with 3 heads and said "I don't know" Hmm then he said "it's a long story". I told him I didn't want to hear it and I wanted him to drive us home after we'd eaten and he could stay at his mums.
He's now gone upstairs in his old bedroom because he's tired from the flight, bless him Angry And I'm sat downstairs with his mum and sister who hardly speak English entertaining our 6 year old daughter.
I want to smother him with a pillow but I'm not insured to drive the car.
So AIBU to think this is him looking for a shag while he's working away?
And what should I do?

AIBU or does this look like my husband has contacted an escort for sex??

My phone saves all WhatsApp photos/media. Anything sent to me in a conversation ends up in my photos - or it did until I turned that off.

Is that a possibility?

I think he may say he was enquiringly about price, maybe for a client. That for me would be a deal breaker. What would happen if he or she got caught abroad doing this? Is it legal where he was staying? What would be the punishment if caught? I'd be pissed at marrying a misogynistic twat and I'd be pissed that him being arrested would affect my life, his child's life etc. Plus he could contract something and pass it onto me.

Marriage has been kind of rocky tbh, he's been working in the UAE for a few years. We did live there too but came back because his contract finished. He went back in August to start another contract.
Also have a had a problem with him watching porn in the past, I don't like it and he said he'd stopped but I've seen some on his browser history from last week Confused

I don't think it would be for a client, he's a very private person when it comes to talking about sex etc.

I agree with Purple mine and my DP's phones are full of WhatsApp photos from others, just because we are part of a group. Same with Instagram

If it was sent from one of his mates he would have told you straight away though wouldn't he. He wouldn't go upstairs without an explanation knowing you are so upset you want to go home. I imagine that's the sort of crap he will up with though. I would urge you to get an sti check even if you choose to ignore this. It's not likely to be the first time this has happened

the UAE authorities become aware that you’re conducting a sexual relationship outside marriage (as recognised by them), you run the risk of prosecution, imprisonment and/or a fine and deportation. It’s against the law to live together, or to share the same hotel room, with someone of the opposite sex to whom you aren’t married or closely related.

This is from gov.uk

So even if it was just an enquiry, maybe instead of watching porn, he was facing a hefty penalty as it may count as evidence of a relationship outside marriage.

I doubt his mates would send him anything like that. I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. And yes, get an STI check asap. Get a taxi home and don't wait for his bullshit

I think it is illegal but tolerated. I think there's a bit of a scene around hotel bars etc. I would imagine it's the women who would get into trouble if they were caught. I can't imagine what the innocent explanation is in this case is but who in their right mind would go to bed under these circumstances? Is he actually asleep or is he frantically texting people trying to get them to cover for him?

I can't load the pic but if it's the address of the sex worker on the screen I'd say he screenshotted it so it's easier to find to tell the taxi driver or whatever
