Sorry for rambling but I'm shaking and fuming right now.

Hubby came home today from working abroad and I've just seen this screenshot in his IPad gallery. (Not snooping, daughter and I were scrolling through pics on there from when we last visited)
We are at his mothers for the night and it's the first time he's seen her in 10 months so I don't want to make a scene.
I have confronted him and at first he looked confused like I was showing him a picture of a fucking dog with 3 heads and said "I don't know" Hmm then he said "it's a long story". I told him I didn't want to hear it and I wanted him to drive us home after we'd eaten and he could stay at his mums.
He's now gone upstairs in his old bedroom because he's tired from the flight, bless him Angry And I'm sat downstairs with his mum and sister who hardly speak English entertaining our 6 year old daughter.
I want to smother him with a pillow but I'm not insured to drive the car.
So AIBU to think this is him looking for a shag while he's working away?
And what should I do?

AIBU or does this look like my husband has contacted an escort for sex??

You might also want to head over to the relationship section on MN because there tends to be lots of good advice on those threads from women who've been through the same situation. Good luck.

I save things on my iPad all the time from the internet and have never saved anything accidently, it's quite tricky, you have to hold down the on/off button on the side and the bottom button at the same time. It's different on mobile phones, I think things are saved more randomly when people send you pics on what's app or messenger. Sorry that you are going through this, it looks bad, I'd leave by taxi. Let him stew. 💐

GlitteryFluff · 09/06/2017 21:48

Oh I'm sorry op Flowers
What an arse.
I definitely think him going for a rest was his excuse to them delete anything incriminating.

BewareOfDragons · 09/06/2017 21:49

Can't believe he immediately went upstairs to hide and left you with his family. Clearly working out some kind of story...

sparechange · 09/06/2017 21:53

A friend of mine caught her husband cheating from a screenshot

He eventually confessed that he made sure he diligently deleted all the messages before going to see the escorts, and then used the screen grab to get to the venue, and then deleted the screen grab

It was all fine until Iphone added a 'recently deleted photos' folder and he didn't realise

dustmotesinthesun · 09/06/2017 21:58

Him going for a nap...are you sure he didn't use this time to go and wipe masses of other incriminating emails/phone records? I bet he did.

To be blunt the fact he went off to rest speaks volumes. An innocent man would be desperate to chat and explain how it got there. Not that i can imagine someone being innocent in these circumstances

pictish · 09/06/2017 22:16

I agree that running away to hide while leaving you with his family is terrible. See to yourself why don't you?
What a prick.

Topuptheglass · 09/06/2017 22:16

Feellike you're better than him - hold your head up high.

He's a fool of a mam thinking he could get away with this.

Hope you get home OK.

I have to say (rightly or wrongly) you made me laugh with your line "I could smother him only I'm not insured to drive the car home" Grin

PyongyangKipperbang · 09/06/2017 22:19

Its very easy to screen shot by accident. I had a whole load of them on my tablet and couldnt work out why, it was because the screenshot button is really easy to catch.

it was him, you know it was him. But it worries me that if he is convincing about it being from a mate, you will accept it because you dont want this to be happening.

Whatever else you do, hide your DD's passport and if he says anything, even an indication, that he might take your DD out of the country then get to a solicitor straight away to get an order in place so he cant.

FeellikeLTB · 09/06/2017 22:22

Well he's gone back upstairs, honestly I have to laugh or I'll cry! Even if he hasn't done anything (I believe he has) why would he leave me downstairs?!
I feel like I'm on the outside looking in. I doubt he would take DD he can't handle her 😂
