Because of his terrorist links. That's pretty strong stuff! In today's telegraph. Behind a paywall though but the first few paragraphs are visible.

One life took one civil right forfeited one murder or execution carried out, one hand chopped off just because you are starving is one enough for me.

Hoping and praying labour are trounced and this ridiculous man goes back to the back benches where he can go and act like Father Jack in comfort again. I love the thing doing the rounds on face book saying he's like a turtle stuck on top of a fence post. He shouldn't be up there You don't know what he's doing up there, he doesn't know what to do up there and you wonder what knob put him up there.

Laying bed cosied up wish my darling dog was still here, he passed away last year and was 15 my darling would have been snoring his head off now making the bed shake best dog I ever had and my last. Sostenueto Flowers

There's an election thread in chat I think - there'll be people up all night there.

Benedikte2 · 08/06/2017 22:46

People should realise that British Prime Ministers are not Presidents and they do not have presidential powers. If JC ever wanted to do anything that would harm the country or put it at risk of terrorism then he'd be pretty promptly sacked by his party. We know he doesn't have great support from his parliamentary colleagues, anyway.
Personally I'd love Keir Starmer to become the leader -- well educated and realistic and articulate

Benedikte2 · 08/06/2017 22:48

Sostenueto I'm sorry about your dog. I've got a cat guaranteed to wake me every 2 or 3 hours for a cuddle.

Sostenueto · 08/06/2017 23:13

Bless benedikte my ole boy would drop his rubber balls on my head at about 2 am he always had 2 in his huge jaws!

Sostenueto · 08/06/2017 23:14

Thanks charmageddon will nip over now Smile

Xenophile · 09/06/2017 10:42

Sitting... the bottom line is that you have no idea what vetting actually is. Or what being in the privy council entails. Or much else.

And Corbynistas is soooo 2016.

Hope your pleased with the Tories cosying up with actual terrorists and terrorist sympathisers now as opposed to the "reds under the bed" version the right wing media has sold Corbyn as.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 09/06/2017 11:50

Agreed.

Hypocrites

"I don't think anyone has said he is a terrorist himself. Just that he doesn't appear to be in anyway competent to deal with security based on his past words and actions (and by actions I mean going places and meeting dubious people)."

You mean like going to the Queen and asking to form a government together with a party with strong links to Irish loyalist terrorists? That sort of thing? Or am I getting him mixed up with somebody else....

corythatwas · 09/06/2017 12:57

btw would the Queen herself pass MI6 vetting? What with foreign family connections and that?
