I am totally and shamelessly begging people not to vote for Theresa May.
Amongst a host of other reasons (education, policing, housing, pay etc), she has confirmed she fully backs the selling off of the NHS.
Follow link above for the full Naylor Review.

Nobody has the right to persuade anyone on how to vote.

Navyandwhite, what do imagine the political parties have been doing for the last 7 weeks?

waitforitfdear · 07/06/2017 15:00

Well you are asking us not to vote Tory so who are you voting for op? Ukip?

missyB1 · 07/06/2017 15:01

The OP isn't "telling" anyone how to vote, she's begging people not to vote Tory.

DH and I are tactically voting to get our local Tory MP out.

fessmess · 07/06/2017 15:01

I don't understand the dislike of Corbyn, he seems a principled and honest politician. Rare I know. He's the best Labour leader in decades.

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 07/06/2017 15:01

I am baffled how anyone can vote for Theresa May or the Tories - the country is a shambolic mess.
You didn't need to persuade me OP - I will not be voting for then. Even my life long Tory voting 82 yr old father is not voting for them and neither are many of his friends. In particular a close friend of his, a woman who has voted Tory all her life, worshipped Maggie and voted for Brexit, even she is not voting Tory. I was genuinely speechless - my Dad texted me the other night saying "JC for PM". I never thought I'd see the day.

SootSprite · 07/06/2017 15:02

Oh go on then OP, your shameless begging has totally convinced me of the error of my ways.

Oh wait....Hmm

littlehandcuffs · 07/06/2017 15:03

Op - Insulting people isn't going to achieve anything, If you can't debate normally then don't post.

MissBax · 07/06/2017 15:03

onemorecup - as much as a despised him, I even "understood" (to an extent) people voting for Pig Fucker. But May - like you, I just can't comprehend it.

If it helps op, I was all set to vote Tory but they lost my vote after the announcement about human rights, just in time it would seem. Now I'll vote tactically for Lib Dems. It won't work mind you I'm in a Tory strong area (mainly very wealthy pensioners) and we've been Tory for ever and hard Brexiters ..... I think I need to move!

waitforitfdear · 07/06/2017 15:05

fess

He might be the best labour leader in decades Hmm. But if he's unelectable to the voters it's not much good is it. Angry

waitforitfdear · 07/06/2017 15:06

Pig fucker? Whose that then? You are doing s great job op are you from Tory central office?

CinderellaRockefeller · 07/06/2017 15:08

I still want to know how whole trusts are going to sell themselves off?

Two4One2017 · 07/06/2017 15:08

Please can I persuade you to read this Full Fact doc about the Nayler report. HTH

Bambamrubblesmum · 07/06/2017 15:08

Come on Bax you opened the debate. If not the tories then who has the answers?

tinytemper66 · 07/06/2017 15:09

I wont be voting Tory tomorrow but I dont believe in trying to persuade people otherwise ....especially with less than 24 hrs before the polling stations open.

PortiaCastis · 07/06/2017 15:12

I wouldn't vote for her if you paid me, beg as much as you like maid t'aint going to make no difference to me

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 07/06/2017 15:14

Well OP you are coming accross as delightful Hmm

YABU - and I am to post this!

Lynnm63 · 07/06/2017 15:17

I sympathise op and I agree you didn't say vote labour but who do you suggest? Do you fancy Corbyn as PM, McDonnell as chancellor, Abbot as a Home secretary, Lady Nugee as Foreign secretary. We'd have to Google the rest of his cabinet tbh. Little Tim Farron has 8 MPs and reports suggest Cleggy will lose Sheffield Hallam. Greens managed to completely fuck up Hove. UKIP Paul Nuttall has never met a lie he couldn't tell. There just isn't an opposition imo.

MissBax · 07/06/2017 15:20

piglet - are you offended that Cameron didn't choose Piglet?
waawaa - touche! ;)

rosie1959 · 07/06/2017 15:21

Sorry no wont be voting for Labour it wasn't but a few months ago that labour MPs wanted to get rid of Corbyn all of a sudden he's wonderful saying all the right thing and planning to spend mega bucks
Labour are fine whilst they are spending everybody else's money then the brown stuff hits the fan
Just recovering financially since they were last in power and I really don't believe their promises If only it was all so easy

Jaxhog · 07/06/2017 15:22

I've voted Tory (by post). I'm horrified that anyone would vote for JC becoming PM. If he cannot form a stable shadow cabinet, there is no chance he can form a stable government. Without a stable government, he cannot deliver anything he's promised. Do you really want the SNP calling the tune? Because that is what will happen.

PoisonousSmurf · 07/06/2017 15:22

As a Brexiter, I'm going to vote Tory as they need to start negotiations with the EU and if JC got it, it would be a disaster for the future of our country. He lives in the 1970s. Look where that left us in 1979!
Labour has always been a joke and always will be! Why do you think the Tories win time and time again?
New Labour was formed to try and win the votes of undecided voters and they were exactly the same as the Tories.
And look where it all ended up! The crash of 2008 and red cash books!
