That's it really; MN seems to be overwhelmingly Labour leaning and that's not obviously indicative of the country as a whole, and I'm under the impression that MN covers a very wide social/ economic spectrum so you'd think it would be more representative of the electorate a s a whole

I agree jng, there are plenty of us who would like to vote for more funding for existing services, and tax rises to pay for it who are voting conservative because we do not believe a state expansion is affordable or desirable. I wish we had PR so that we could have a chance of a negotiation to enforce a government in the middle ground.
