All those American and British artists supporting Manchester, where's that fecker Noel Gallagher. Liam has been there for his home city and he's supposed to be the loutish one

I don't think the concert was about Manchester. The concert was about the victims and families of the Manchester bombing, not all of these people live or come from Manchester, and not all the police officers, doctors, support crews etc come from Manchester either. The concert was about EVERYONE coming together, whoever they are, wherever they are to support those tragically affected. It makes no difference if some Manchester artists didn't feature. The line up was great and aimed at the kind of music/artists the young victims would have enjoyed.

Oh I'm sorry - I didn't know we had to blindly agree. Righty ho

TinklyLittleLaugh · 05/06/2017 16:11

Anyone else more than a little tickled that Hookie's daughter is an Ariana Grande fan? Talk about teenage rebellion.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/06/2017 16:11

Didn't Liam Gallagher and Blobby Williams have an ancient feud over that bird from All Saints many moons ago too?

Wonder if they came together in the green room....

cjt110 · 05/06/2017 16:14

Spending his £46m net worth compared to Liam's measly £6m....

I see in the Daily fail Liam has given his brother stick over it....too right

TinklyLittleLaugh · 05/06/2017 16:14

Pretty sure that Liam called Coldplay "Music for bedwetters" in the dim and distant past.

However I guess everyone is trying to rise above such things now.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/06/2017 16:16

I have to admit I have a strong aversion to Chris Martin and had to turn over when he was on.

Ravenblack · 05/06/2017 16:16

@tinklylittlelaugh
The music wasn't my cup of tea (because I'm not a 14 year old girl.

What a bitter, spiteful, bitchy remark. Jealous much?

PantPlot · 05/06/2017 16:17

Yes we had a little chuckle about that as well Grin

TinklyLittleLaugh · 05/06/2017 16:20

Ravenblack Really? Get over yourself you daft thing Hmm

Pagwatch · 05/06/2017 16:22

I thought it was nice that Liam was there and then he had to go and be a massive arse nugget on Twitter.
No one has to be there. Starting to get pissy about who doesn't attend is so far removed with the whole idea of the concert.

He just can't ever ever be dignified can he? Fucking tool.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/06/2017 16:22

Why was that spiteful? Sounds like Tinkly was just pointing out that the concert was largely aimed at 14 yo girls - which given the context, is hardly a surprise

SumThucker · 05/06/2017 16:24

Jesus Ravenblack, how pathetic. Nothing spiteful about it.

HmmOkay · 05/06/2017 16:25

Grin to Gin for the link.

I particularly liked:

I always get those two mixed up. Which one is Liam? The one least likely to have read Middlemarch.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/06/2017 16:25

The one least likely to have read Middlemarch.
Sorry but I'm 😂😂😂😂 at this

Tinkly I seem to remember that when Paddy McGuiness was interviewed, he mentioned Hooky was dancing to Little MixGrin Great image, true or not

TinklyLittleLaugh · 05/06/2017 16:26

Yep Pagwatch. The whole nation said "Ooh, maybe we have misjudged Liam Gallagher. Ah, wait a minute, perhaps not".

Boulshired · 05/06/2017 16:28

But does it needs to be aired in public on twitter, especially mentioning the children. A dignified no comment was all that was needed.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/06/2017 16:29

I think dignified isn't likely to happen here Grin

pottered · 05/06/2017 16:30

i thought chris martin was ace at this gig - i've always found coldplay's music morose and had the gavin & stacy vowel renewal p-diddy scene going through my mind when fix you came on - but he really was great at this gig.

TheWitTank · 05/06/2017 16:32

But it wouldn't have made an iota of difference if Noel was there or not. The concert was sold out entirely. The line up was appropriate and well put together. Noel would add nothing apart from everyone getting excited about an Oasis reunion and all the headlines being about that and/or their fight.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/06/2017 16:32

I always thought he took himself too seriously - but anyone who is into GoT needs to check out the spoof he did for Red Nose Day a few years ago
