How is "btiches" a way anyone would want to refer to themselves?

Well good for him. Unless a lot has changed since I was young(er), "bitch" is mildly offensive, hardly anything to cause frothing.

Now "Tories on Tour": I'd boot them off straightaway.

Ariawyn · 05/06/2017 19:18

Why good for him though?? He's rewarding bad behaviour - they were asked to do something reasonable by the airline and refused to do so

He did this before with something similar but I can't quite remember what it was, but I remember feeling the same...
It might have been the couple who bought flights from Birmingham Alabama to Vegas instead of Birmingham uk

Because he's not boring and narrow minded for a start. I like his Fuck You attitude: we could do with more of it.

I'm absolutely a feminist, but struggle with the idea that "bitch" is any more misogynistic than "bastard" is misandric.

Neither (especially the latter - it's shade higher up the sliding scale of swears in my mind, I guess for historical reasons?) would be my first choice of t-shirt slogan, and I suspect the party were a PITA who gave the airline crew reason to be wary, but nope - I can't get outraged by "bitch".

The t-shirts wouldn't bother me and I've seen much worse, on a Jet2 flight as well - we had a horrendous Friday morning flight to Mallorca a few years ago.

Half the passengers were on stag or hen weekends and they were charging up and down the plane, pissed with t shirts saying things like 'Shazza's hens do Magaluf 2015 on the front' and 'Brenda likes it up the arse' on the back.

I expect that the group referred to in the OP got extra rowdy when they were asked to cover up their t shirts, which is why they got thrown off. Also, I think jet2 have had quite a problem with having to divert for drunk and disorderly passengers, some of whom have been heavily fined or even imprisoned.

The atmosphere on planes to Mallorca on recent flights I've been on has been quite offputting - we had a similar experience to the above going from Liverpool with Easyjet last year, and I've come to the conclusion they should put separate planes on for people going to naice Mallorca so they don't have to spend 3 hours in close contact with drunken idiots going to Magaluf Smile.
