Every single song is such a tune

Other bands will be considered for a top three. Backstreet boys and Blue maybe.

Oh this is theee best thread ever!! Grin

I loved 5ive! I went to see them with my best friend in (I think) the point theatre.

I got their video for xmas one year and watched it on xmas day. Loving life until my mum asked me why "that man was making love to the banisters" in the "until the time is through" video. Mortified, I could only watch it in secret after that.

I think there is no further argument here on their lyrical genius

I went to a tiny concert in my local leisure centre, aged about 10. Performing for the crowd of 30 (thirty Grin) were first kiss, 911, ultimate kaos and a no show from a duo called deuce. I got Nicky from ultimate kaos' signature and my aunt collared One of the first kiss guys to give me my first kiss (peck on the cheek) on his way out of the building Blush Grin

BandeauSally · 31/05/2017 18:32

I also remember come my lady, come come my lady etc etc by crazy town. Filth!!!

Grin "I'll make your legs shake, you make me go crazy"

CoodleMoodle · 31/05/2017 18:42

Big TT fan here, was too young the first time Blush Wouldn't agree that Mark's the least popular at all, not in my experience. They've all got their crazies! (Personal life stuff aside he's my favourite at least Grin) Going to see them twice next weekend and cannot WAIT, I love them all.

I didn't have a boyband when I was growing up so I'm going through that stage now, only without the camping outside/scrawling on walls/climbing up drainpipes to look in windows bit...!

BandeauSally · 31/05/2017 18:43

My bedroom wall circa 2000/01 Grin

Take that we're my first love in a boy band. I only had eyes for Robbie. Hmm Grin

I had a bedroom full of 911 posters growing up, convinced that I would marry Lee Brennan swoons I was heartbroken when he married her from bewitched. I saw them at the O2 a few years back and loved them, still sound amazing and Lee is still very cute.

Boyzone was a close second falling hard for Stephen gatley, trying not to get too upset when he came out that he would never be mine.

Now I have formed a deep love for NKOTB and Jon knight why do I always pick the gay ones

glitterglitters · 31/05/2017 18:55

Did anybody else have random bands come and do school assemblies? We used to get some but they were all Christian rock outfits Grin

I've spent about 96% of today singing random 90s songs. Love it.

QueenMortificado · 31/05/2017 18:57

Can I also add honourable mention to PJ and Duncan for Let's Get Ready To Rhumble?

Knowing all the lyrics is my party trick!

Haha that's one of mine too!!!!

Freaking it, sweatin it, busting the mic. Slammin it, jamming it do what you like

DollyDora · 31/05/2017 18:59

I LOVED 5ive!! Went to see them on the big reunion tour a few years ago then when they did their own tour and again when it was the boy bands big reunion there were only 3 of them left by then. I also loved A1 Ben and his floppy curtains in particular. Does anyone remember Point Break twovof them out of Byker Grove and one thats Charlie Cotton in EastEnders?

QueenMortificado · 31/05/2017 19:04

YES Glitter!!!

My favourite line is "so many lyrics we'll keep them in stores / we've even got them coming out of our pores"

Maybe I'll take the lyrics crown from 5ive just for that

Do you live near london as we could potentially double up and be an ant n Dec tribute act?!

PJ and Duncan were up there on my walls. Used to have a thing for Declan Donnelly. Glad that one passed too!

QueenMortificado · 31/05/2017 19:06

Also Ant n Dec rhymed sensation with... sensation. So they get bonus points for that

@QueenMortificado

Haha I particularly like

Partners in crime, we'll never do time,
A sentence for us has to end in a rhyme!
Raw, and pure like sushi, don't try to do me,
Use me, or even try to sue me!

QueenMortificado · 31/05/2017 19:11

We know it all. This has to happen.

I have quite a big forehead so can be either of them. Maybe whichever of us is taller can be PJ. I'll even practice the scene where he goes blind.
