Agreed.
Might have been nice if @ArianaGrande had stayed to do the same.

So basically he said that Ariana Grande should have stayed to meet the victims?

Fucking hell. I can't imagine what Ariana must be going through after what happened.

But no. Piers Morgan has to make his point.

Will do just fine that

Queenofthedrivensnow · 27/05/2017 00:21

We don't know that she won't come back and meet victims in the future. The experience must have been terrifying for her and the psychological impact will be huge. One of my first thoughts about Arianna was that she might not recover from this. I'm not sure I could recover from feeling like I caused the deaths of 22 people.

I don't have a problem with the tweet she posted afterward. Either her manager wrote it or that was all the sense they could get out of her. I'm
Not sure what else she could have written.

salsmum · 27/05/2017 00:35

I think it's good to remember that by Arianna staying on stage Monday night a little bit longer she did in fact save many more lives..people stayed who would otherwise by in the foyer. I think also for this singer to have visited the victims in hospital you would have had others shouting that it was just done for a PR stunt so either way she couldn't really do right. I think maybe behind the scenes she's offered the survivors a return visit to her concert or some other singer/fan experience either way let's not forget the incredible trauma and grief she too is feeling and having her name forever associated with such a horrific thing.

CheeseQueen · 27/05/2017 01:00

Reflected on my earlier post, read the other replies and agree it's only a few days since she was caught up in it, so she's bound to not respond straight away as she'll be shaken up.
It's not for us to say how someone should or shouldn't react, and appreciate on thinking about it that it could be triggering/upsetting for those badly injured if she did a visit.

I think that if Ariana had stayed and gone to the hospital the paps would have known and turned up at the hospital..they would be trying all sorts of tricks to get in there and as Ariana was standing at the bedside of the victims there would have been Miss shoved in her face and the paps asking how SHE was feeling whilst trying to clamber over the poor child's bed to get the best story/ pics....imagine how critical folks would be with that situation?. Backstage after the bang the back stage and the singer would have been informed very quickly (via their earpieces) that there was indeed a bomb blast she may have had this confirmed earlier than the audience... now imagine knowing your own Mother was n the audience yet being told you CANNOT go into the auditorium ...I don't think the words traumatised and broken are an exaggeration do you?

Terfing · 27/05/2017 04:45

He's disgusting! He is making this whole thing about himself. Tasteless and crass.

SenseiWoo · 27/05/2017 11:40

In the end, the only thing that works when people like Piers Morgan and Hate Hopkins start up is to ignore them. The moment they cease to attract attention, clicks, debate (and therefore, advertisers) is the moment they cease to be employed.

I've decided that whenever I feel like commenting on the latest imbecility by one of them, I will send a small charity donation to something they would hate instead (e.g. a charity helping refugees).

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 27/05/2017 11:48

Ariana Grande is coming back to Manchester to spend time with her fans and do a benefit concert for the victims & their families. So I hope Piers Morgan tweets about that.

It would have been ludicrous if Ariana had visited the hospital, totally inappropriate.

Redglitter · 27/05/2017 15:23

I'm Ana ed she's coming back as soon as next week to perform. Good for her. Wonder what Piers will have to say now

corythatwas · 27/05/2017 17:15

Sensei, I like your style:

MrsLucyEmerson · 30/05/2017 19:51

So Ariana is coming back, playing a gig, with loads of other great acts including Pharrell and Coldplay.

Has Morgan tweeted about that yet?

scaryclown · 30/05/2017 19:53

Where was he then? Prick.
