Dark concerns

For reasons I won't go into -DH I'm looking at you- our laundry was "darked on" overnight.
AIBU to consider one of the following remedial actions?:

a) throw the clothes away and buy replacements. It was a washing line full, all in very good condition so would be costly.

b) invest in a tanning sun bed (saw a used one for £2.5k on eBay) and use it to bring the laundry back to the "light". Could be a good back up in the event he does this shit again.

c) LTB.

just wear them as normal.

Get a priest in to dedark your washing.
Or a medicine man.
Or find an angel to shine their halo on it.
Only solutions.

I mean if you asked him to bring the laundry in then the only solution is LTB. You don't need that in your life!

There have been lots of discussions on here about leaving washing out overnight. Many posters expressed horror that the washing would get "darked on!"

I can't just wear them! The dark would spread.

Oh goodness me. I can't believe it's been darked on. You do know spiders have rubbed their willies on your undies don't you?

Buy the sunbed..it's a small priced to pay for truly light and clean washing.

Mine was also darked on last night, only because I couldn't be arsed to bring it in! I've set it all on fire already 😂

It's an MN thing - i think it's intended to be an amusing reflection on someone leaving clothes on the line overnight

Scrub it with a babywipe, they clean everything including getting "the dark" off washing

Mine almost got darked on on Sunday but I came to my senses and brought it in before I fell asleep on the couch . La vida loca!

Just got my washing in after leaving it out overnight - there was a small spider web touching the edge of my joggers. Can't cope.

Yup a baby wipe dry clean will solve everything including being darked on.

There are so many great choices now, thank you helpful pps but with my luck I fear some of the cheaper ones won't work. I'm going to have to find an angel with a shiny halo, aren't I?

Leave it in the sun all day. The sun's healing rays will cure it. I do it all the time.
