I stood in the entrance of M&S for 5 minutes this morning just trying to imagine anyone who this would suit.
It's polyester as well so you couldn't even say it would be good in a heatwave.

It's straight from one of those patterns (Buttericks?) that we used in domestic science classes at school twenty years ago. And the patterns themselves actually dated back to the seventies.

Yes it was in the window of our local m and s at the weekend and i made comment on how hideous it was and who it was going to appeal to?

I like it, you'ld have to be very petite and have pixie looks and long hair, but I think it'ld be nice with right accessories

Hah, I saw that looming out of the window of my local M&S this weekend and remarked on it's er, "uniqueness" to my OH.

It looks dreadful hanging on a mannequin, I can only imagine how it looks on a real life person with non-standard lumps and bumps everywhere.

It's like M&S are actively trying to go out of business.

Gosh I actually thought "that's not so bad" and then I scrolled through the pictures of the model wearing it... it's so shapeless! I'd absolutely wear it as pajamas though

You just have to wonder what they were thinking. I mean are the buying staff actually walking around wearing the shit they are commissioning? Is marks and spencer head office full of employees with terrible taste wearing blancmange pink oversized dresses? Who pretend they are Margot from the good life?

I reckon they should do head office tours, so you can actually go in and have a look at all the staff in their loud polyester attire.
