Just had war with my next door neighbour.

I posted a thread here last week about Neighbours dogs coming into my garden- shifting everywhere, harassing my two and digging up flower beds.

General consensus was to board up the hole in the fence between our own gardens- which I did do. I also posted a receipt from the garden last weekend from the plants I had brought that her dogs dug up just hours after I planted them with a note explaining that as they had damaged my garden, could she please drop the cash in to go and replace the plants.

Neighbour returned from holiday last night and nothing was said. Went out this morning with the DC and have come back to find the fence panel has been taken out- so a) they have entered my property without permission as it was nailed in from my side (yes I probably shouldn't leave the gate unlocked) and b) have damaged something else of mine. Dogs have been in the garden again as well as DD stood in a dog shit on the patio.

Anyway went and knocked on neighbours door and produced her with the receipt for the fence panel as well. She ranted and raved at me, spat in my face and slammed the door in my face.

She has now gone out and left her mutts dogs in the garden so no doubt we will get a visit again from them this afternoon.

So how long has she not known where her dogs are ? And the rspca are not interested? That's terrible.

Glad the police were helpful though.

I feel sorry for the dogs .

ChippieFishieHorshie · 07/04/2017 22:16

Oh gosh.

Well, at least the police took it seriously. Good luck,

InvisibleKittenAttack · 07/04/2017 22:46

wow, glad the police took it seriously.

Hopefully the shelter will take the dogs!

ilovelamp82 · 07/04/2017 22:49

Did she come home? How long have they left the poor dogs unattended?

PyongyangKipperbang · 07/04/2017 22:55

Its Friday night, so probably she will roll home in the wee small hours and not give the dogs a single thought until she emerges from her pit tomorrow afternoon.

If she makes it home at all.....

BillyButtfuck · 07/04/2017 22:56

This is awful. I really hope you're okay.

123MothergotafleA · 07/04/2017 23:05

I sincerely hope that this mad bitch does not have children. at her mercy.
People like her need to be locked up somewhere. You can be sure that she has form for being a menace everywhere she goes. Just your misfortune to have to tangle with her.

dogloverxoxo · 07/04/2017 23:10

What a psycho! Get her charged

NeedABumChange · 07/04/2017 23:12

Why was the warden not interested? Did you say they were your neighbours? I'd have just said I found them.

GlitteryFluff · 07/04/2017 23:18

Some people are just awful.
Hope you manage to sort things out.

rainbowstardrops · 07/04/2017 23:20

Hope things get sorted soon

Tapandgo · 07/04/2017 23:20

Report to the landlord, mention property damage, threat and assault to you and police involvement.

PurpleDragon76 · 07/04/2017 23:20

I would be putting up a solid 6 foot 6 fence round my whole garden with cctv. Poor you

MiscellaneousAssortment · 07/04/2017 23:25

So glad the police were helpful, well done for reporting.

If she's like any bully I've come across, she might have a final show of anger as she won't believe you've had the gumption to challenge her, and when she realises she's crossed the line with you for good, she'll stop putting the effort in and move onto an easier target

MiscellaneousAssortment · 07/04/2017 23:36

I'm glad to see you didn't lie to the warden and say you didn't know where the dogs owners lived. They'd work out extremely quickly that they are your neighbours and then take no further interest or action whatever else happened further down the line.

They'll have had pets/ wardens dragged into neighbour disputes before, and would take a dim view of it. As you would have lied and been found out, it would just look like 'six of one, half a dozen of the other', or even worse you'd be seen as the aggressor.

Much better to do everything by the book, tempting though the other stuff might be!

NightWanderer · 07/04/2017 23:55

Its so bizarre she remove the board. I think you just need to cover the hole somehow and not bill her for it. Hope the police have a word

fkds · 08/04/2017 00:01

Why would she remove a fence panel you put up? Why would she want aggravation and potentially having the police involved? Some people are crazy.

I think its more to do with some people not being able to understand that they cant just do whatever the fuck they want without consequences. I have a member of my family by marriage like this, and he simply does not get that he cant do what he likes and have no one pull him up on it. If he is called on his shitty behaviour he totally loses it because in his world the only one who is right is him. Its like trying to reason with a toddler on a haribo rush.

Vanmenace · 08/04/2017 11:03

Did you call the dog warden OP?

HiggeldyPiggeldy · 08/04/2017 12:39

did she collect her dogs?

CosyCoupe88 · 08/04/2017 17:33

Hope things have been a bit better today op?

emmyhNL · 08/04/2017 18:06

Any update OP?

GissASquizz · 08/04/2017 18:11

Lurk

Wintersnow39 · 08/04/2017 18:19

I once had a neighbour who persistantly let their dog poo right outside our garage and all around the car. One day I had had enough so I scooped it all up and placed it right outside their front door, close enough so when they stepped out there was a good chance they stood in it..... it didn't happen again.

Groovee · 08/04/2017 18:21

Cripes what a horrible woman.
