Just had war with my next door neighbour.

I posted a thread here last week about Neighbours dogs coming into my garden- shifting everywhere, harassing my two and digging up flower beds.

General consensus was to board up the hole in the fence between our own gardens- which I did do. I also posted a receipt from the garden last weekend from the plants I had brought that her dogs dug up just hours after I planted them with a note explaining that as they had damaged my garden, could she please drop the cash in to go and replace the plants.

Neighbour returned from holiday last night and nothing was said. Went out this morning with the DC and have come back to find the fence panel has been taken out- so a) they have entered my property without permission as it was nailed in from my side (yes I probably shouldn't leave the gate unlocked) and b) have damaged something else of mine. Dogs have been in the garden again as well as DD stood in a dog shit on the patio.

Anyway went and knocked on neighbours door and produced her with the receipt for the fence panel as well. She ranted and raved at me, spat in my face and slammed the door in my face.

She has now gone out and left her mutts dogs in the garden so no doubt we will get a visit again from them this afternoon.

phone the police for the assault and call the dog warden saying there is two out of control dogs in your garden.

cjt110 · 07/04/2017 13:41

And throw the shit back over the fence! Sorry but this make me chuckle - all I could think o was someone ducking down, flinging the shit parcel and shouting "Incoming"

Nothing helpful to add - as you were....

TheWitTank · 07/04/2017 13:41

I second taking reporting them as strays every single time she leaves them unattended in your garden. I would also put up a robust fence, nail gun the shit out of it (concrete in the posts) and paint the top with anti climb paint. It stains for weeks.

reawakeningambition · 07/04/2017 13:41

Video it.

GabsAlot · 07/04/2017 13:41

phone the police an try an find out who the ll or agent is and complain im sure theyd like to know whats going on

PebbleInTheMoonlight · 07/04/2017 13:42

Another vote for police and dog warden.

Keep a diary of events and report every single time she does something violent, intimidating or threatening.

People only get away with stuff like this because we let them.

TheWitTank · 07/04/2017 13:42

Also gather all shit and dump on her doorstep. Loose, not bagged. Right up to the edge so its hard to remove.

wifeyhun · 07/04/2017 13:42

Crikey she's absolutely vile. Phone the dog warden, police and then her landlord.

Don't let the scummy cow get away with this.

BastardGoDarkly · 07/04/2017 13:43

She's spat in your face, wrecked your property, and your dogs can't go in their own garden, how can you ' make it worse' ?!

Chattymummyhere · 07/04/2017 13:43

Open the gate and cal the dog warden re the dogs, cal the police and report the neighbour for the spitting incident.

Mummyoflittledragon · 07/04/2017 13:44

Lead them out of the garden with some tasty food and close and bolt the gate? And throw any shit they leave over the fence accidentally hitting the back door These dogs are not your responsibility.

Porpoiselife · 07/04/2017 13:44

And throw the shit back over the fence!

This

I'd wait until she goes out and then when her dogs come in the garden, put them in my car and take them to the RSPCA and say they were found wandering loose in the road.

And repeat every time it happens.

and this.

ImissTerry · 07/04/2017 13:45

Phone the police. Spitting on someone is assault. Also, did I read your op correctly? Has she stolen your fence panel?

EffinElle · 07/04/2017 13:45

Post the shit through her letter box!
Try and find out who her LL is and complain to them.

badtime · 07/04/2017 13:45

Standing up to people rarely makes the situation worse. It only does if you crumble pretty much straight afterwards.

If you don't let her know that you won't tolerate her behaviour, you are effectively letting her know that you will tolerate her behaviour.

Why would you do that?

tabulahrasa · 07/04/2017 13:46

Phone the police, its no longer a dog problem...she's damaged your property and assaulted you.

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 07/04/2017 13:46

Make it worse than psycho woman spitting in your face and carrying on like she owns your place with her dogs in your garden shitting everywhere? Erm.....? How could this get worse?!

Grow a backbone and report it to the police. Then contact the dog warden.

Posting receipts with instructions to give you cash was a really bad idea. So was going round with more receipts and demanding more cash. Not much point telling you to discuss it with her prior to that as I'm fairly confident you don't have a time machine.

As it has now escalated you need to finish this.

EatSpamAmandaLamb · 07/04/2017 13:47

I don't think the situation can get worse. Just bloody phone the police or the dog warden, you have been assaulted. There is no other action to take.

MadMags · 07/04/2017 13:48

Fuck that. Phone the police and the warden! Don't be such a pushover!

PyongyangKipperbang · 07/04/2017 13:50

Contact the council.

Behaviour such as this can lead to an ASBO. We had similar issues with an ex neighbour of ours and we didnt want to pursue it because both of us owned our properties and if we wanted to sell before they did then we would have to disclose it. As it was, not long after they got the warning letter, they put their house up for sale and fucked off, probably because they didnt want to disclose their "nightmare" neighbours....who wanted them to stop chucking their gardening rubbish into our garden and accusing our kids of vandalising their guttering (no, we couldnt work that one out either).

But the council will get involved if you inform them of what has happened, and do try and find out who is managing the property if you can and complain to the LL aswell.

JonSnowsWhore · 07/04/2017 13:50

Let your dogs out there! From what I remember they're Rottweilers aren't they? Scare the shit out of next doors dogs to stay in their own bloody garden

bananarama75 · 07/04/2017 13:50

I'd be finding out who her landlord is aswell. tlTogether with everyone else's suggestion to call the police/dog warden.

NoFucksImAQueen · 07/04/2017 13:50

Tempted to ring the police and dog warden but fear it will make the situation worse
Worse than her spitting in your face? You have 2 options here and that's let her do what the fuck she likes or fight back

SapphireStrange · 07/04/2017 13:52

Call the police for assault.

TheWitTank · 07/04/2017 13:52

www.cfba.co.uk/dog-laws.html

It is a civil offense for a dog to be out of control-and as she isn't supervising it clearly isn't under any form of control.
