Don't get in a lather about it. I'll do the loofah you if that's a state as well.

was expecting poo and vom

TheBath · 17/03/2017 20:17

Woe is me for I am the bath
People take photos of me and laugh
I let them lie in me and fondle my taps
Sometimes they drift off and have a little nap
I do all I can to provide a decent time
But still they mock my little bit of grime
🛀

Gabilan · 17/03/2017 20:18

No-one's been soft soaping their answers OP but it's OK - you could clean it in a flash

morningconstitutional2017 · 17/03/2017 20:19

Well, it's not as pristine as I would have expected but maybe it was the last job on a long list of 'things to do' and so it was overlooked. It's not tragic though, if I were you I'd just rinse it and say nowt.

greathat · 17/03/2017 20:20

There is currently soil in my bath. No idea where its come from. When the kids have a bath ill swill it first. Can't be arsed otherwise, got better things to do

cantthinkofausernamerightnow · 17/03/2017 20:23

I actually can't see the dirt. Maybe my ipad is filthy. This has to be a wind up.

Ginkypig · 17/03/2017 20:24

You have come on to the Internet to slag of your friends and have included a picture!
I'd hate to see how you treated someone you disliked.

Oh and by the way you weren't "only just saying"
You hoped we would all slate your friends and you'd feel smug and superior just like all other bully's do when they set someone up to be looked down on.

Ode to The Bath

Stop being such a drip
The OP is having a blip
This thread is giving us a laugh
At her expense, not yours, dear Bath.
You cope so well
So do not dwell
On the pubes and skin bits
That you consume
On a daily basis

Polly85 · 17/03/2017 20:24

hahahaha i love the poem @thebath

WankingMonkey · 17/03/2017 20:25

Imagine picking up your daily copy of The Daily Hatred Mail and seeing your bath printed over a double page expose with the headline 'MANKY BATH OF DOOM OFFERED TO DISGUSTED GUEST, WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING'

Mildred darling, I think you better come and see whats written in this rag paper
Mildred promptly faints and hits her head on a table that has exactly 10 specks of dust on it. A speck falls onto her head. NHS refuse to treat her as she is so filthy. However all is well and she returns to her disgusting hovel to find 233674 journos parked outside snapping photos of she who does not clean

The poor couple are promptly outcasted by their friends and family for their disgusting ways. They die alone in their filth and are half eaten by alsations.

OP I hope you are proud of yourself Sad

The Guest’s Lament

Oh dear gracious, most generous Host,
I fear I now shall have to post (on MN)
Despite enjoying my stay’s delights
All came to naught – Most died of fright!
When I thought to take a tranquil soak
Your filthy bath near gave me the boak.

V.U. Guest

CrochetBelle · 17/03/2017 20:29

Woohoo Possum my first DM mention Grin

Fuxfurforall · 17/03/2017 20:29

You sound really rude. Glad you aren't my friend.

Wingsofdesire · 17/03/2017 20:31

You're at a friend's house and you're staying over and you're posting a pic of her/his bath online because it hasn't been cleaned before you come?

Are you their friend?

Sorry, but this is such a personal thing ... they'd feel so embarrassed and hurt. I guess they just didn't have time to do it, and thought it would be ok as you're their friend. Or maybe they didn't even realise. But either way, I think you should just rinse it out and I don't think you should take pics and send to all of us complete strangers. : (

Sometime we need to protect the vulnerability of our friends.

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 17/03/2017 20:35

Just rinse it

HelenaGWells · 17/03/2017 20:37

I would be pissed if I invited someone into my home and they judged me like this. It's a tiny bit of dirt ffs. Get over yourself.

velourvoyageur · 17/03/2017 20:39

Not sure if bath or laptop screen Confused

It's fine, who would give a shit

GreyStars · 17/03/2017 20:46

If it was hair from a mammoth shaving effort then I'd get it, shit in the toilet maybe more so... but a bit of left over scrub or lush bath bomb - nope can't see it and I do have cleaning OCD. Maybe is more under control than I thought

But is anyone else wondering why you would go and visit someone and then have a bath? Is it a long visit? Who does that I want to spend time with my hosts, and I love a bath.

With that I'm off to inspect my bath as I did have a scrub not so long ago and have visitors tomorrow...

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 17/03/2017 20:49

If MNHQ delete this I shall be very disappointed in them.

PurpleMinionMummy · 17/03/2017 20:49

Do they know you've snuck upstairs to have a bath? I hope you haven't just popped round for coffee...

Sparklingbrook · 17/03/2017 20:58

If it was hair from a mammoth Grin That's funny without the shaving bit.

Gazelda · 17/03/2017 21:07
