Confused
To think if you're having guests, the bath shouldn't be left like this??
OP posts:

I'm working class so we keep coal in our bath. The bath in the pic is luxury. LUXURY

diodati · 18/03/2017 23:53

Woooooh! The Furies of Mumsnet are out, knives aloft, swooping in to bring the foolish to task! Beware!

6079SmithW · 19/03/2017 01:42

Every time I think I have seen it all on MN a post like this comes along GrinGrinGrin

ZebraSleep · 19/03/2017 02:00

Looks like my bath. We have hard water and it's not filtered so even clean water has specs of what looks like coal in it.

Stop photographing my bath!!

BillyButtfuck · 19/03/2017 02:04

This has really cheered me up, OP you scoundrel you!

BillyButtfuck · 19/03/2017 02:09

You just know OP has a long list of 'toilet' rules hung in her bathroom and isn't afraid to enforce them.

hippyhippyshake · 19/03/2017 02:22

Jeez, it's hardly the grime of the century.

But I have had a laugh. Thanks op. 😂🛀🛁

Clandestino · 19/03/2017 06:32

Are you in a hotel or was someone kind enough to offer you their hospitality. I personally wouldn't do that anymore. If it's not a hotel, that is. You must have a nasty streak the length of the Equator.

timeforabrewnow · 19/03/2017 06:50

I can't see any dirt at all in that picture. Is there something wrong with my computer?

intheknickersoftime · 19/03/2017 06:52

Are you the guests mother in law op?

intheknickersoftime · 19/03/2017 06:52

Hosts, not guestsGrinHmm

BARB060609 · 19/03/2017 09:29

Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I assume this is the worst bit of the bath as this is the bit you photographed? If so, it appears to be quite clean enough. Also I agree with others that it is really rude and bitchy to take a picture and share it.

BabychamSocialist · 19/03/2017 13:01

I keep seeing adverts for this thing called "V.I.Poo" and I wondered who it was for. Now I know. It's for OP! Can't have people knowing you have an actual human digestion system and bowels that need emptying! I bet she keeps her toilet roll under a decorative doll wearing a big dress and that her toilet seat has a fluffy cover on the lid.

Chamonix1 · 19/03/2017 13:41

Only on mumsnet.

ohmywhatamisaying · 19/03/2017 15:05

I'd definitely print a copy of that picture out, take it to your hosts and ask them just what the fuck they are thinking.

SaudadeObama · 19/03/2017 15:26

MoonShapedPool we don't even have a bath, just a tin tub by the fire. Sometimes we run out of fuel but it's ok if we have guests because we can just burn their clothes and wash ourselves Grin

Edballsisoneniftydancer · 19/03/2017 15:31

OMG Babycham I have spent DAYS trying to erase that ad from my memory and you've just brought it back Grin

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 19/03/2017 15:34

Oh you'd love my bath OP. It's permanently marked where you stand and the grouting has gone brown from the hard water no matter how often it's cleaned. Believe me I'd recognise it if it suddenly appeared on MN!

ShatnersBassoon · 19/03/2017 15:41

As far as dirt goes, it looks pretty clean. A very small amount of some sort of easily-swilled grit. It might even be a bit of stuff off a scourer.

I hope the op is currently gathering further evidence of the host's slatternly goings on, pulling their cooker out and photographing beneath, and checking the corners of their garage for cobwebs.

amerrie

Woah, ok confused I haven't exactly made it identifiable though

That is not the point. You are being ungrateful: it is unacceptable to do a trip adviser on someone's home.

TheNaze73 · 19/03/2017 15:57

I'm with OP, it's a heinous crime.

Ring 101, log an official complaint, give the host a poor trip advisor rating & maybe lobby your local MP

derxa · 19/03/2017 15:58

I always like to know what Anthony Costa from Blue/Joe Mangel from Neighbours make of these things. Grin Me too Sparkling. Let's not forget Terry Christian and that awful shouty woman with red hair..

Bargainqueen · 20/03/2017 23:14

AIBU to think that you do not actually care for this person? If you did then you would come up with a million reasons as to why the bath wasn't rinsed, or even rinse it yourself to save the person from embarrassment.
People forget to do things, we are all human. If someone came to my house and took a pic of a tiny bit of dirt, cobweb, food on the floor from my DS and felt IWBU, then I would kick their stuck up booty out of the door!
