AIBU to think that you do not actually care for this person? If you did then you would come up with a million reasons as to why the bath wasn't rinsed, or even rinse it yourself to save the person from embarrassment.
People forget to do things, we are all human. If someone came to my house and took a pic of a tiny bit of dirt, cobweb, food on the floor from my DS and felt IWBU, then I would kick their stuck up booty out of the door!

I always like to know what Anthony Costa from Blue/Joe Mangel from Neighbours make of these things. Grin Me too Sparkling. Let's not forget Terry Christian and that awful shouty woman with red hair..

I'm with OP, it's a heinous crime.

Ring 101, log an official complaint, give the host a poor trip advisor rating & maybe lobby your local MP

Woah, ok confused I haven't exactly made it identifiable though

That is not the point. You are being ungrateful: it is unacceptable to do a trip adviser on someone's home.

As far as dirt goes, it looks pretty clean. A very small amount of some sort of easily-swilled grit. It might even be a bit of stuff off a scourer.

I hope the op is currently gathering further evidence of the host's slatternly goings on, pulling their cooker out and photographing beneath, and checking the corners of their garage for cobwebs.

Oh you'd love my bath OP. It's permanently marked where you stand and the grouting has gone brown from the hard water no matter how often it's cleaned. Believe me I'd recognise it if it suddenly appeared on MN!

OMG Babycham I have spent DAYS trying to erase that ad from my memory and you've just brought it back Grin

MoonShapedPool we don't even have a bath, just a tin tub by the fire. Sometimes we run out of fuel but it's ok if we have guests because we can just burn their clothes and wash ourselves Grin

I'd definitely print a copy of that picture out, take it to your hosts and ask them just what the fuck they are thinking.

I keep seeing adverts for this thing called "V.I.Poo" and I wondered who it was for. Now I know. It's for OP! Can't have people knowing you have an actual human digestion system and bowels that need emptying! I bet she keeps her toilet roll under a decorative doll wearing a big dress and that her toilet seat has a fluffy cover on the lid.

Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I assume this is the worst bit of the bath as this is the bit you photographed? If so, it appears to be quite clean enough. Also I agree with others that it is really rude and bitchy to take a picture and share it.

Are you the guests mother in law op?

I can't see any dirt at all in that picture. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Are you in a hotel or was someone kind enough to offer you their hospitality. I personally wouldn't do that anymore. If it's not a hotel, that is. You must have a nasty streak the length of the Equator.

But I have had a laugh. Thanks op. 😂🛀🛁

You just know OP has a long list of 'toilet' rules hung in her bathroom and isn't afraid to enforce them.

This has really cheered me up, OP you scoundrel you!

Looks like my bath. We have hard water and it's not filtered so even clean water has specs of what looks like coal in it.

Stop photographing my bath!!

I'm working class so we keep coal in our bath. The bath in the pic is luxury. LUXURY

OP firstly, I think you need to get a life. And secondly, I want to know if you're my friend, so I can be sure to never invite you to my house. Ever.

What kind of person is it who accepts hospitality and then bitches about its quality on a forum? I will leave out the adjectives and just say someone with not enough to occupy their time. Tell me - did they have the temerity to ask you to use a toilet they had actually put their own bare arses on? Reason totters at their impertinence.....
