I'm in the market for a new hairdresser following a house move, I have a full head of highlights and a cut and blow dry, my old hairdresser used to charge £70 (Yorkshire), I've phoned a few in my new area and they're charging nearer £100. Is this normal?

Also if you live in Leeds, please recommend me your salon!

Mine charges £49 for a full head of foils and cut and blow dry.
I'm in the South East.
I'd have to rethink my colour if it started costing £100!

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 13:33

I'm from Leeds !! Antonio or Phil at Sketch in the centre of Leeds are both amazing ! X

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 13:33

Oh and yeah if you're getting colour and cut £85-£130 is around average x

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 13:34

I get student discount and it's still £80 for half headnof highlights and a cut x

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 13:35

OhTheRoses · 22/02/2017 13:40

MILs in Leeds and pays £8.50 on pensioner's day for a shampoo and blow dry. Do you really want a recommendation Grin

SorrelForbes · 22/02/2017 13:44

£105 for full head of highlights, cut and blow dry is about average for a good salon here (Hants) but I go to someone's house and she does it for £45!

usernotfound0000 · 22/02/2017 13:46

TisConfusion this is what I'm thinking, but I've been blonde forever!

TheEdgeOfSeventeen the few city centre ones I've found are quite pricey and £100 seems to be average, just not sure I can justify the cost!

ohtheroses definitely a better price!

hoddtastic · 22/02/2017 13:47

£48 for an all over colour
£15 for a root touch in between and my front greys
£38 for a cut

I have one of the above every month so get a blow dry too.

North West

TheEdgeofSeventeen · 22/02/2017 14:17

Oh btw Ive just looked it up and i was going off of highlights prices x If you're after a full colour Sketch says its from £40 ( plus a cut would make it £78) xx

TiredMumToTwo · 22/02/2017 14:19

Chester - about £90 for blonde highlights and cut & blowdry. There are cheaper places but the one I go to is really nice city centre salon.

QueenMortificado · 22/02/2017 14:21

London and I go to a swanky salon, about £260 for full head colour, lowlights and baby lights plus haircut and treatment.

I only to twice a year though and the colour is absolutely lush. Real treat for me.

MimsyFluff · 22/02/2017 14:22

East Midlands £49.50

hollinhurst84 · 22/02/2017 14:24
