Saving car park space

madmoon · 21/02/2017 16:50

Today whilst I was taking my five year old to
Hospital appointment I circled the car park 3 times looking for some where to park . It was getting closer to His appointment time , I spotted a space being emptied in my rear view mirror so drove around again (4th time ) I noticed a black vw pull in to the car park behind me stop and a lady in her late 40's jump out when I got around to the possible available space , said lady was stood in the car space I indicated to enter it , wound down my window and asked if she could move please . She said she couldn't as she was reserving the space .
I pointed out that you can't just stand in a spot to reserve it and the only way the spot could be reserved is by the hospital policy she carried on standing there , I admit I did at this point lose my temper and told her to move her effing ass or I will be at liberty to mow "ur bitch ass down " she told me her husband is waiting to get in the spot to which I told who effing cares I plonk my car ; as much as I could in the space. Me and my little boy got out and got a ticket to my return to a very very angry husband who if I didn't move my car was going to report me to the hospital security. He banged my car , kicked the wheel , I put the ticket in and walked off car half in half out .
I never been so angry with them and my self why does parking make us all insane !

I know my behaviour was unreasonable hence the why does parking make you insane.
Witsender just FYI I am insane( more than some anyway) I do have bipolar bpd and many other issues , I didn't get a parking ticket , but I went to the hearing aid reception and explained what I done , to be fair I don't. Or ally do these appointment things on my I usually have a health worker but she was sick.

You sound delightful.

RentANDBills · 21/02/2017 17:08

madmoon well I'll be honest that's the first time I've seen anyone admit they were wrong on that count so well done on that.

Scrumptiousbears · 21/02/2017 17:09

I'm with you OP. The cheek of that woman would probably have tipped me over the edge.

Bluntness100 · 21/02/2017 17:11

"move your fucking arse or I'll mow your bitch arse down"?

madmoon · 21/02/2017 17:12

I might add as I stated in original post I wasn't just angry with them I was angry with my self, I try harder than most to to contain my emotions , but sadly like you all I am only human , maybe I was struggling because I was worried these hearing aids won't work, ( 3 operation down ) maybe it's because am just a total fool either way it happened.

"mow ur bitch ass down "

Right okay then Hmm

RentANDBills · 21/02/2017 17:15

madmoon its happened now, so nothing you can do about it. I'd say use it as an opportunity to evaluate what is making you stressed and make some changes.
I did something AWFUL the other week, I only dared admit it to my mother, and I was mortified (waaaay worse than shouting at a plonker in a car park) and realised there wasn't anything I could do to change it but I COULD try and make some changes to avoid it happening again.
I'm sorry to hear about your sons hearing struggles, did the hearing aids work?

madmoon · 21/02/2017 17:15

LurkingHusband · 21/02/2017 17:17

And what were you going to do if they didn't move ? Or are you hoping your common assault would work before resorting to battery ?

I guess in for a penny, in for a pound ?

madmoon · 21/02/2017 17:19

Oh don't worry rent and bills I now know that I can't do theses appointments on my own and as much as it puts the oh out he's going to have to come with me,

I do at present have cat therapy too which is meant to address they way i do certain behaviours so fingers crossed it works .

Where did I mention touching anyone with said car?
Assault & battery? Get a fucking grip Hmm You've jumped to your own little conclusion there which says more about you frankly.

LadyHelenOfShitsville · 21/02/2017 17:24

YWNBU OP. They were utter cunts. The more people roll over for cunts like this, they more they think they can get away with it, society is starting to be overrun with arrogant people like this. I am sure you were aware your DC would not be aware of what you said so it's really irrelevant and she deserved it. You have nothing to feel bad about.

RentANDBills · 21/02/2017 17:24

please tell me that cat therapy is where you get to spend an hour in a ball pit except for the ball pit is cats

RentANDBills · 21/02/2017 17:25

*balls are cats

Man10 · 21/02/2017 17:25

Anyways, yes they behaved terribly but you excelled both yourself and them by pretending to be some sort of reality show hard bitch. In terms of twattish behaviour, you won. Hands down, no contest.

I don't agree with this, the OP's bad language was nowhere near as bad as the incident that set if off. The queue-jumper was breaking the rules, the OP merely indulged in some bad language the strength of which may have helped the queue-jumper understand that she wasn't going to get away with her anti-social bullying behaviour.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 21/02/2017 17:26

You know what? I don't think you're unreasonable in the slightest.
You normally have someone accompanying you during hospital visits so you had the stress of doing it alone.
You're worried about your son. Completely understand.
You'd circled the car park 4 times and was about to be late for the appt.

She was behaving like an entitled cunt. You should have called her that too.

LadyHelenOfShitsville · 21/02/2017 17:26

The OP also did not try to damage anyone's car unlike the male of this couple.

PatMullins · 21/02/2017 17:28

You swearing doesn't make her any less wrong

They sound like knobs.
