Saving car park space

madmoon · 21/02/2017 16:50

Today whilst I was taking my five year old to
Hospital appointment I circled the car park 3 times looking for some where to park . It was getting closer to His appointment time , I spotted a space being emptied in my rear view mirror so drove around again (4th time ) I noticed a black vw pull in to the car park behind me stop and a lady in her late 40's jump out when I got around to the possible available space , said lady was stood in the car space I indicated to enter it , wound down my window and asked if she could move please . She said she couldn't as she was reserving the space .
I pointed out that you can't just stand in a spot to reserve it and the only way the spot could be reserved is by the hospital policy she carried on standing there , I admit I did at this point lose my temper and told her to move her effing ass or I will be at liberty to mow "ur bitch ass down " she told me her husband is waiting to get in the spot to which I told who effing cares I plonk my car ; as much as I could in the space. Me and my little boy got out and got a ticket to my return to a very very angry husband who if I didn't move my car was going to report me to the hospital security. He banged my car , kicked the wheel , I put the ticket in and walked off car half in half out .
I never been so angry with them and my self why does parking make us all insane !

Who cares about the moral high ground? She got her space and some cheeky fuckers got their comeuppance.

RitaMills · 21/02/2017 17:47

YANBU, that would piss me off no end. Good for you for standing up to idiots like that.

Quimby · 21/02/2017 17:50

Only encountered this once before.

My response was in a similar spirit but not quite as exaggerated as yours. I.e. "You must be fucking joking? Fuck off." And then edged the car in so people behind could pass and then a stand off till she did indeed fuck off.

Moving on up definitely looking forward to the ignoring me stage lol I would rather that then the fact he can't hear me , although he's all happy at the moment he's got bright green glittery hearing aid moulds Smile

Is have done the same thing without saying 'mow your bitch ass down'😂

Willow2016 · 21/02/2017 17:56

Owlinatree
Exactly. All this good advice was apparently wrong 😲

I agree op you shouldn't beat yourself up over this
She was a git you were worried about missing your appointment for your son. If nobody stands up to these people we all have to suffer them.

Btw inching your car slowly towards someone isn't assault they have ample opportunity to move and they shouldn't be there anyway.☺

Izzabellasasperella · 21/02/2017 18:02

I don't understand why you went at her so aggressively from the start. Most people when shouted and sworn at will react back in the same manner. You could have told her you been looking for a space for ages and you were worried about missing your sons appointment time. Maybe she would have moved and none of this would have happened.

BitchPeas · 21/02/2017 18:03

They were absolute tossers. I would have told them to fuck off while laughing and reversing into the space anyway.

Mow your bitch ass down was a bit mug though Grin

BitchPeas · 21/02/2017 18:03

*much not mug

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 21/02/2017 18:10

"move your fucking arse or I'll mow your bitch arse down"

Hmm
SanitysSake · 21/02/2017 18:14

Sounds like something you'd hear on a bad US TV drama.

noenergy · 21/02/2017 18:15

Can't stop lol, hubby is looking at me as if I'm mad!!

noenergy · 21/02/2017 18:17

Posted 2 soon

That line was great. I just couldn't bring myself back I say that to someone.

Everyone on here is always saying to stand up for urself. Good on u, next time try not to do it in such a bad way

woodhill · 21/02/2017 18:24

I feel your pain OP. In an ideal world you wouldn't swear but what an idiotic woman.

The husband had no right to damage your car

I'm reeling from an encounter on the way home tonight and I swore at the other driver, really not proud of myself

Bluntness100 · 21/02/2017 18:25

Thanks both, sorry I'm clearly having one of those confused days.

Don't get me wrong I'm highly likely to have told her to fuck off as well, or words to those effect, id just not have said " mow ur bitch ass down" like an extra from pulp fiction. Sorry, genuinely it's still making me laugh. 😂😂😂

Anyways, good you stood up to them. They were behaving appallingly. 😃

madmoon · 21/02/2017 18:33

It more than likely is from some bad us sitcom , I pretty much spend my life watching crap Tv , it made my hubby laugh too after he spent twenty minutes stroking the cat and checking for dents etc
Just to clarify although the parking hubby kicked and banged the car there is not actual damage to the car

I absolutely understand. The new hospital we have does not have enough spaces and turns into whacky races at busy times. People go the wrong way in a one way system to get to spaces first, the stupid parking attendant just stands there looking for cars to put a ticket on as thats just a money making scheme. Its infuriating.

madmoon · 21/02/2017 18:38

Izzabella
I did ask her to move politely to
Start with I even said she couldn't reserve the space by standing in it , I guess when your going around and around In circles, looking for a space your kinda stressed out , then u think thank the lord a space knowing you waited patiently in line for it , for it to be taken by some women on foot , I wouldn't of reacted in the same way if that had been a vehicle that parked there after waiting his turn.

Angry I was , and don't get me wrong I felt like a twat after , ( which is pretty much what I said to the receptionist and my cpn)

HookandSwan · 21/02/2017 18:42

Don't worry op we all have days or moments when we're incredibly stressed and we act out xx big hug and I hope your sons hearing aids work.

madmoon · 21/02/2017 18:48

Thank you hookandswan ATM he keeps saying shhh to anybody , but I guess it will take a while to Settle .

HookandSwan · 21/02/2017 18:50

Your welcome x Yes it's probably a bit strange to hear so loudly.

MadMags · 21/02/2017 18:58

The only thing wrong was your dodgy trash talk! Grin

GabsAlot · 21/02/2017 18:58
