To ask how many of you would go on a trampoline?

Trampolining without fear of dribbling a bit of pee?!!?
Females only to answer (I am guessing?).
Also have you given birth?

I'm currently pregnant with DC2 and even sneezing is a risk!! Normal or do I need to increase daily pelvic floor exercises to twice daily...

I'm mostly okay. Had 2 DCs, been crap at pelvic floor exercises and haven't had too much of an issue. Last time the DCs asked me to go on the trampoline, I was slightly horrified to find some wee came out. Doesn't happen often though.

SaucyJack · 09/02/2017 21:21

I would. I'm not afraid of pissing myself. I just philosophically accept it's going to happen.

Goondoit · 09/02/2017 21:21

I would but I'm just 1 dc down the line

HarryPottersMagicWand · 09/02/2017 21:21

Oh and pelvic floor exercises once a day is not enough. I did aqua natal and the MW said we should do them on the hour, every hour. I didn't do them anywhere near that much but more than once a day I think. I still do them occasionally when I remember. I think it's one of those things you need to keep doing.

TheCaptainsCat · 09/02/2017 21:23

I'm ok, but I've only had one baby, and I'm not pregnant. Who has time/the memory to do hourly pelvic floors Shock

Turneeps · 09/02/2017 21:24

Every hour?! Bloody hell, I've got some work to do then.

I love trampolines but prior planning is essential!

DS2 was particularly mean on his exit!

scoobydooagain · 09/02/2017 21:25

I went last week, 45 minute class, no problems was quite relieved and surprised after all the scare stories I got before the class.

Rainydayspending · 09/02/2017 21:25

Me. I often have a sneaky bounce. (3 children no leaks) my main issue is my boobs though (GG cup).

Wolfiefan · 09/02/2017 21:25

I have and do trampoline. Went on when 2nd baby about three months. Never had an issue. My back is fucked though so that's an issue!

Cottonheadedninnnymuggins · 09/02/2017 21:26

I went on a trampoline when DS3 was about 5 months old, didn't give my pelvic floor a second thought until I did an fabulously high bounce and unceremoniously peed myself on the way down...why did nobody warn me about trampolines!

PassTheWineAndFags · 09/02/2017 21:26

I had a triple prolapse after my second, had surgery to put it all back and can now bounce to my hearts content pain and pee free Grin

The80sweregreat · 09/02/2017 21:26

I have been on one and hated it!
Brought back memories of school pe lessons..

anonbecauseiwanna · 09/02/2017 21:27

I would.

Rotational forceps birth with tear & episiotomy 6 months ago.

The first 2-3 months things were quite right but seem to be back to normal now.

AnaG1ypta · 09/02/2017 21:28

Aerobics, tennis, trampolining - all require tena lady protection now. :(

I've given up caring.

2DC. 1vb and 1c/s

hearyoume · 09/02/2017 21:28

I'd need to wear a Tena Lady but I'd give it a go Grin

feartyfeet · 09/02/2017 21:28

Yes have been on trampoline (loved it!) 2DCs. Recommended pilates for pelvic strength. Definitely had to concentrate on engaging my core to prevent weeing...

JustHereForThePooStories · 09/02/2017 21:29

No kids and pelvic floor/bladder control is fine.

Fear I'm too fat for a trampoline though. Picture myself falling and not being very graceful about it.

RedGrapeCornSnake · 09/02/2017 21:29

3 kids - 1 rotational forceps and 2 fairly hefty babies (9lb and 10lb 13oz)
Happily bounce on a trampoline without fear.

Get me anywhere near a toilet when I need to go though and I often end up frantically ripping off clothes to make it to sitting down in time.

I should probably do some pelvic floor exercises

eurochick · 09/02/2017 21:29

I could without fear, but I've only had one baby, by CS.

SprogletsMum · 09/02/2017 21:29

I wouldn't right now because I'm 30 weeks pregnant with number 4 but I would have a go after, would very probably wee a bit though.

Chattycat78 · 09/02/2017 21:29

I haven't tried trampolines recently. Had 2 dcs (last one 8 months ago) and I'm guessing that it would be an issue as I managed to wee myself slightly when I lifted the very heavy double pram earlier today. not good. Shock. I barely have time to go to the loo never mind do a million pelvic floor exercises every day. Am trying though....!!

justdontevenfuckingstart · 09/02/2017 21:29

I wouldn't, last time I did I wet myself. Am clenching muscles right now. They're pathetic, must try harder.

SuperBeagle · 09/02/2017 21:30

I've had 3 kids, but my concern about trampolines is not that I may pee myself, but that the last time I went on one, I sprained my ankle and still have issues with it 12 months later. Grin

I love trampolines, but after two significant injuries (one at age 6, and one as a mother of three), I've resigned myself to the fact that they just aren't for me.

Olswitcharoo · 09/02/2017 21:30

I had a weak (ish) bladder after my two, it is now much better and can manage star jumps and skipping in the gym without embarrassing pissing myself Grin
