Trampolining without fear of dribbling a bit of pee?!!?
Females only to answer (I am guessing?).
Also have you given birth?

I'm currently pregnant with DC2 and even sneezing is a risk!! Normal or do I need to increase daily pelvic floor exercises to twice daily...

Someone on this thread mentioned MommaStrong's pelvic floor strengthening HIIT exercises. Am I the only sheep to go off and sign up?

weepat · 11/02/2017 18:53

Met my SIL for the 1st time 2 days after dc2 was born. My brother brought her to meet us when he came to visit his new nephew.
Put a Billy connelly video & literally pixxed myself with laughter!!
18 years later she thinks it's hilarious to tell people how down to earth I am and feel so comfortable meeting people I wet myself!!
We still laugh about it. ( i do however control my waterworks)

Thissideof40 · 11/02/2017 19:02

I took the kids to a trampoline arena recently and joined in myself. I had to keep making excuses nit to jump when I felt a bit of pee come out. It was good fun all the same.

Alisvolatpropiis · 11/02/2017 19:04

I would. Have given birth once.

ThomasRichard · 11/02/2017 19:05

Nope. I wear a pad for anything the slightest bit bouncy Blush I have 2 DC but I'm only 29!

guiltynetter · 11/02/2017 19:09

i've been taking my DD to a trampolining session with my friends and they all joke about this but i don't really get it! how does it make you wee a little bit is it if you need a wee when you're bouncing? i've never had it happen to me (but i have weed a bit while laughing!)

noroomonbroom · 11/02/2017 19:10

No probs here.7 children all natural deliveries,1of which was 9lb6oz.
Bit of a stealth boast. But have had many a 'must be like shelling peas'comment in the past to justify it.

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 11/02/2017 19:47

I pissed myself on a bouncy castle at a BBQ so erm....no.
2 DC, tear for one, episiotomy for another. Don't do anywhere near enough pelvic floor. Sometimes pee when I sneeze/cough but fortunately getting less often.

BroomstickOfLove · 11/02/2017 20:19

I piss myself when sneezing, coughing, vomiting, skipping, bouncing and sometimes doing other exercises. I always wear a tens pad to the gym. It gets a lot worse when I get a cold and cough or sneeze a lot, and then when I get better and do exercises it gets milder. I suspect I have some level of prolapse, but I can't really be arsed going to see my GP about it.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 11/02/2017 20:20

Did it just before christmas, in short, no, I do not have the pelvic floor for trampolining Blush

allowlsthinkalot · 11/02/2017 20:22

Four dc, not a chance. Can't even sneeze or run for the bus.

Funnyfarmer · 11/02/2017 23:05

I went trampolining today with my family. I last gave birth 6 years ago. I'm 33 and never normally have problems in this area. But next time I will be wearing a tenalady 😶🙈

Funnyfarmer · 11/02/2017 23:10

I do a lot of hiit exercise but still didn't stop the dribble..

Wadingthroughsoup · 11/02/2017 23:20

Sadly, my trampolining days are over. Not that I had any trampolining days anyway. I also have trouble with fast skipping in the Boxercise class I go to. Too embarrassed to tell the instructor why I hate it so much so I just pretend I'm not fit enough for skipping.

Also, I went to a gig a few years ago- twas my favourite band from the 90s. I had quite a lot of cider while the warm-up acts were on, and was SO excited by the time the band came on stage that I jumped about wildly as they played the opening chords of one of their biggest hits. So wild was my jumping, that I properly weed myself and had to scuttle off to a portaloo to remove my leggings (thereby missing the rest of the song). Luckily it was a daytime outdoor gig in the summer and I was wearing a dress so managed without the leggings.

Haudyerwheesht · 11/02/2017 23:22

Have had 2 massive babies and don't think I'd pee myself on a trampoline but wouldn't go on one cos of my dodgy hips (after having SPD). also I'm always scared I'll be too heavy and go straight through!

tobecontinued2000 · 11/02/2017 23:25

I go on my sons trampoline.

Mrsgingermum · 12/02/2017 01:27

As a continence nurse I advise that any leakage after birth is not to be expected. I treat 100 year old ladies and fix their problems. Pelvic floors should be done 3 times a day. 10 short sharp and then you should hold for 10 seconds and release repeat 10 times. But I would advice asking your gp to refer you to your local continence team. Wearing even the smallest tend lady should not be acceptable. It is a really common issue though. I had to get my colleagues to treat me after my dd.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 12/02/2017 01:37

I quite like the idea of it in theory bouncing up and down like I didn't have a care In the world, However in practice. No I wouldn't as I'd look and feel a twirp.Grin
Yes I have given birth. By C/Section.

ChristmasFluff · 12/02/2017 01:53

Physio. Soon learned why us and horseriders are a pain to midwives. Pelvic floors like iron. But even so. No. Having tried and tested, I venture giving it two years before inflatable bouncing without pad. And then be careful.

IJustLostTheGame · 12/02/2017 02:01

Former dancer and horserider:
I will more than happily go to a trampoline park; as long as I am armed with tena lady and a heavy duty sports bra
Blush

honeyharris · 12/02/2017 10:37

I would. One child with difficult labour at age 38, pushing for nearly 3 hours as he was stuck, followed by episiotomy. I do pelvic floors every time I get in the car and have done since pregnancy.
