Trampolining without fear of dribbling a bit of pee?!!?
Females only to answer (I am guessing?).
Also have you given birth?

I'm currently pregnant with DC2 and even sneezing is a risk!! Normal or do I need to increase daily pelvic floor exercises to twice daily...

I do. A lifetime of pelvic floor exercises, pilates and 2 c-sections (first one emergency) appear to given me a pelvic floor of steel.

user1471451355 · 10/02/2017 05:41

I've had two and largely pregnant again; no pelvic floor problems here! Sheer luck as I have never done a Kegel.

Nquartz · 10/02/2017 05:58

DD is 4, dud my exercises whilst breastfeeding because I felt like I couldn't hold onto a wee as strong or for as long after having her. Now you wouldn't know if had a baby (mum tum aside).
Can't bounce too high though as I lose my stomach Blush

TwinkleTwinkleLittleBat · 10/02/2017 06:11

3 dc (two are dts). No pelvic problems but I'm a bit scared of trampolines, or falling off is more what scares me.

Mol1628 · 10/02/2017 06:24

I leak on trampolines after 2 children. I am going tomorrow though to a toddler bounce session. I just have to squeeze as I jump.

heppi · 10/02/2017 06:27

2 DC and have been to a trampoline park twice in recent months. I did fine until the last 5mins of the hour when I felt a little dribble out - must have fatigued my pelvic floor after an hour's bouncing, or just really needed the loo.

TheClaws · 10/02/2017 07:00

I've had two. They're teenagers now. I wouldn't go on a trampoline now because everything would fall out.

Turneeps · 10/02/2017 14:43

Majority have strong pelvic floors- well done! !

Yes - I do this www.boogiebounce.com/
Twice a week with no issues

NameGotLostInCyberspace · 10/02/2017 14:46

2dcs. Trampolines make me feel like my insides are going to fall out..

Bambambini · 10/02/2017 15:41

I do but always go for a wee first!

Palomb · 10/02/2017 15:45

I wouldn't have to be concerned about wetting. 1 prem vaginal birth and 1 prem section.. I guess my body was never ravaged by later pregancy.

UnimaginativeUser · 10/02/2017 15:48

Love going on kid's trampolines! Had a slight wee accident last time though, which caught me by surprise (especially due to lack of my own children!). Won't stop me though - will just ensure bladder is empty before going to the park next time! Grin

KurriKurri · 10/02/2017 15:52

I was fine for years after having kids, but now I am old (57) and have had several gynae type ops etc., my bladder/pelvic floor is very weak.

I would still go on a trampoline though - but would be well tena-ed up Grin

I'll go on our one at home so it doesn't matter if I do piss myself but I'm a bit too wary of them to go on them elsewhere. Really should do more pelvic floor exercises!

BagelDog · 10/02/2017 16:32

Three babies, three sections, lots of Pilates before during and after, all fine to bounce!

wonkylegs · 10/02/2017 16:32

I'm happy to trampoline or bounce on a bouncy castle (we may have kept DS's after his party for a sneaky parents jumpGrin)
I've got 2 boys but a good pelvic floor only problem is I have hold my boobs to avoid concussion Blush

Soubriquet · 10/02/2017 16:33

I'm fine with my pelvic floor..even though I do have an after bath gush

But my back wouldn't tolerate a trampoline

LunaLoveg00d · 10/02/2017 16:35

Given birth vaginally three times. Had a hysterectomy.

My trampolining days are very much over.

PleasantPhesant · 10/02/2017 16:38

3 x births

Happy to bounce-and did when we had the trampoline.

kel1234 · 10/02/2017 16:38

I would. I don't have any problems like that, even shortly after the birth I didn't have any problems. And I never done any pelvic floor exercises

laurzj82 · 10/02/2017 16:51

Can i ask a question please? Is it pregnancy or vaginal birth that causes this? I had cs and never bothered with excercises (lazy) and never had a problem. Am I just lucky or is it because of cs?

KurriKurri · 10/02/2017 18:01

As far as I know laurz82 vaginal birth, and especially instrumental delivery, episiotomy, prolonged labour and all those kind of things greatly increase your chance of having PF problems either immediately afterwards or in later life. All the muscles get stretched, cuts and tears can cause nerve damage.

Although again I think it would depend on the circumstances of your CS - if it was planned then I think you would be far less likely to have problems than if say you laboured for a long time ad there was no progress then had an emergency CS, because then s ome stretching would have occurred.

Anyway - all power to your pelvic floor - I'm glad you've avoided problems (although I think pelvic floor exercises are probably a good idea for all women if you did fancy doing some - mind you they didn't help me much !)Smile
