I'm a regular poster, and have name changed for this.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a clique here? Some people's posts always get answered and they seem like a happy friendly little group. If you're 'new' or haven't posted that much, you pretty much get ignored.

I enjoy reading the posts, and I enjoy posting, but this 'exclusivity' is really getting to me. This is supposed to be a place people can come with their problems/jokes etc, and to feel like some people are 'left out' kinda defeats the object IMHO.

Haha, my SIL and BIL were fairly liberal parents, used to let DNeph watch Family Guy, etc.

Why would a chicken dinner thread be deleted? I have a chicken breast in the oven (am I doing it wrong.)

I may have anal sex with hubby tonight after cooking his chicken breast wrong (???) There will be someone who does that 8 times a day and I am so boring for doing that because they have anal sex with the chicken breast. (Use it not with it because a chicken breast doesn't have an anus) My point was that there will always be someone who does something more than a previous poster and it just gets stupid.

Don't get me wrong. If you want to have anal sex with a chicken breast then go for it.

I had a PM from a user on here when I posted some advice (that disagreed with said poster) on a thread it went along the lines of....'we have been trying to give this person advice for a few weeks and have all discussed how we need to be tough with her now etc etc'

That goes on. Of course, it does. It is a bit pitiful, really, that they get their jollies from ganging up on a person they have never met! But such is the fervour with which they get stuck in.

I sometimes post in the Sex topic when a thread appears on Active. I'm used to talking to people IRL about sex stuff. I hate the name calling though, Mundanes/Cool Wives.

When I was growing up my parents used euphemisms involving a batman outfit and swinging from the chandelier or jumping off the wardrobe, instead of just saying "sex".

I feel the opposite and that's why I love it.. It feels so huge and anonymous. I love that you can't personalise profiles, have profile pics, have likes etc. I recognise some usernames but that's it. I love just blending in!

I think it's pretty sad that adults can't choose who they want to talk to for them self's. The poster sending the pm is even sadder. And to tell them how to respond to a thread..dont people have their own minds...it's almost as bad as trolling

Posters should report such attempts to influence. It is a juvenile way to behave although it is v v funny in a Can you believe the mentality of such women!? Lol type of way.
