To ask scots if they actually like Nicola sturgeon

Just out of curiosity really because she and her voice make me cringe when i hear her on tv or radio.

Love scots though please don't get me wrong.

Whether she has been cleared to be a candidate? Or whether she was readmitted into the party?

They are both as bad as each other tbh and if nothing else show an astonishing lack of judgement.

From long experience I know that newspapers never tell the whole story Grin

I believe that she has been cleared to be a candidate etc, I don't know if I believe all the back story (not saying it's not true, just haven't had a chance to verify yet)

I agree, you don't always get the whole story but I have no reason to disbelieve any of it.

The only thing that there is neither evidence in the article or isn't already a matter of public record is whether she has or hasn't been cleared as a candidate, there is nothing to suggest this is untrue, given that the SNP are quoted from the day before the article saying "The SNP insisted yesterday that Cameron is a reformed character." That would appear to confirm that she is a current party member. That's enough for me tbh.

I shall await further developments, if she is selected and elected on to the council. I for one will be delivering my council tax bill in a rolled up form to make it easier for them to shove up their arses.

Personally I think now that it's all blown up in the press, I think she won't be selected this time and it'll all blow over - I still think the fact they have her in the party is bad enough though. It's fair enough to say that people change but it's not like this woman was a naive teenager at the time and I don't believe that her values will have changed that much, she'll just have got better at covering them up.

Here's one blog by an Indy supporter a few years ago with one of the points about how the Gers figures don't show what an Indy Scotland would be like financially. I know it's not up to date but was one of the things giving me faith that Scotland isn't a financial basket case.

But the suspension didn't end though did it? She was suspended for life and then readmitted after two years.

This probably set the trend for "once in a generation" meaning every few years/whenever we want.
